  1. Now seems a perfect point to lock this thread. Both sides have had their say, neither of them will be agreeing on anything anytime soon (it appears), so no point extending what is a personal argument on a public forum. IMO.
  2. Travelling towards Oxted from Godstone direction Looked like L777 something, but it was difficult to tell given how 'compact' the reg. no. was.
  3. Don't think so Dave as my GZ Aero does have a passenger airbag!
  4. You have it in one, Jake. They don't rewrite athletic records each season simply because people aren't up to the job of setting new ones. If someone wants the high score then they've got to practice at becoming more competitive or put in the necessary time on that game.
  5. Nope. People should practice more if they are really that concerned about having a high score.

    Help!

Welcome. The Frequently Asked Questions forum is the best place to start. Lots of useful information in there.
  7. Apart from confirming it was a classic silver saloon, it was nigh on impossible to tell what variant of Scoob that was.
  8. Seems to be a real 'Marmite' colour for people. Personally, I love it and if the sun is shining on the car when you visit you'll be in for a real treat.
  9. Hi Mike This is Bronze - otherwise known as MSB (Monkey Sh*t Brown ).
  10. 100 message allowance for Club Members and more for authorised traders?
  11. The total allowance is 100 messages, so with 100 in your inbox you've reached your limit.

  13. lol! I always get this response whenever I mention my perception of speed between the two cars. Bearing in mind mine is completely standard performance wise , the TT just doesn't *feel* as fast as the Subaru. I know it's faster, you know it's faster, everyone knows it's faster - but it sure as heck doesn't *feel* like it.
  14. Welcome to the site, Mike. You can ignore most of the advice you received on that SN thread. A standard TT Supra is going to be considerably quicker than your lightly modded bugeye, and in my view it's not possible to make a valuable comparison between two such disparate vehicles. Both have their good and bad points. My WRX Wagon is perfect for the daily commute and general work use, but it does become rather tiring on motorway runs. On the other hand, my TT is wholly unsuitable for work use, but it's an absolute joy on motorways, long runs (apart from the less supportive seats) and on sunny days when I get the roof off as well. As a side note, although my Scoob is nowhere near the power of the TT it *feels* faster because the noise, hard suspension etc all combine to create the illusion of travelling fast. In the TT it's all so quiet and effortless that I often find myself going quicker than I thought (or in fact should be ).
  15. Hope you have a fantastic holiday, Matt & Chantelle. I will have lots of bits and pieces ready for your return *cough*spark plug change*cough*.
  16. I keep dribbling over these wheels as well! Rudimentary photoshop of them on my car: MVP have them listed on their website as well and the price is comparable to that ebay ad with the added plus that you get the lugnuts, hub-centric rings and centre caps as well. Although that seller has good feedback, I would much prefer to hand over that sort of money to MVP rather than an 'anonymous' ebay seller.
  17. Not for me personally - it reads like "Ar Spra". If you're happy to have a plate illegally spaced then what about P15 PRA from the DVLA? A snip at only £250 and if you space it as P1 5PRA you have Position 1 Supra (sort of )
  18. No, not at all. I would tell you if I were upset..............
  19. Hi Darz What year and model type of WRX do you have?
  20. If you think the Supra has got problems try owning a classic shaped Impreza!
