  1. And you can print off the installation instructions here
  2. It has a standard backbox - very odd!
  3. Tim, Aren't the "chav" days held at Bentwaters rather than Woodbridge?
  4. Nic, According to this thread they're only £25 brand new from dealers over here. Given that, and considering the postage costs from HK, it may not be worth your while pursuing that any further.

    Bling!

Just seen these in real life and they look fantastic.
  6. Those Blitz wheels of Scooter's do fit over UK brakes. Can't comment on AP fitment, though.
  7. Spot on fit with my 60mm gauge in the heater vent (thanks to Matt H).
  8. Here's a picture I prepared earlier () showing the spoiler tucked away and as extended.
  9. [F&F mode] Happy birthday bro' [/F&F mode] Been waiting to use that one for ages!

  11. Thanks for letting me know about the boot blind, Nic. I'll pass on the gear stick as well as it doesn't sound any better (perhaps even worse) than mine is anyway.
  12. Cheers. At first glance it looked like somebody had mounted a bottle of womans perfume on the dash!
  13. That's certainly an acquired taste. I'm intrigued as to what that 'thing' sticking up on the steering column is, though. http://www.japimportsuk.com/images/cars/37_007.jpg
  14. Thought of something else. Might be interested in the gear stick depending on its condition, wear, etc.
  15. Does it have a boot blind, Nic?
  16. Spotted mid morning on the Newchapel Road heading out of Lingfield.
  17. Really?! Are you sure? I thought it was in July sometime? Cheers, Nic. Looks like some mean wrapping there, you must be worth your weight in gold at Christmas!
  18. Excellent. Really looking forward to seeing the change in the car once all those bits are fitted and the front end has been resprayed.
  19. Spotted this morning. I hope you realise that you were turning off into a 30 limit.
  20. Brussel sprouts. Even the mere thought of them makes me retch.
  21. Got them through a group buy on P1woc.co.uk. In day to day use (in the Subaru) I don't often use the record and playback facilities that the Defi setup provides. However, the ability to be able to record and playback 3 minutes of driving and setting the peak boost warning level make them a worthwhile purchase for me. For example, with the record and playback feature I can watch at my leisure the boost levels the car has been reaching rather than having to keep an eye on the gauge during a 'test run'. The peak boost warning also provides a handy alert if the pressure suddenly goes over my set level. The other point to make is that once you have a Control Unit then other Defi gauges such as oil pressure, oil temp, etc can be plugged into the back of that and 'daisy chained' so that data and peak levels can also be taken from those gauges. It's horses for courses, really. As Chris points out a much cheaper mechanical gauge will do the job probably just as well at a fraction of the price, but I personally wouldn't be without the functionality the Defi setup provides. Hope that helps.
  22. The gauge and control unit came to a nadgers under £200. Don't recall how much fitting was as I had my fingers in my ears trying to block out Matt's attempts to convince me to go single!
  23. Don't know I'm afraid as it was Matt H who worked his magic and installed the gauge for me. It's 60mm in diameter so fits in there nicely.
