  1. Tim that first vid doesnt seem to be downloadin properly fella. Unless I am bein a biff:p
  2. Some fella that had literally just spent a lot of money having the body styling done apparently (I was stood next to his best mate and his 6 year old son when it happened). That corner where the 2 scoobs offed he hurtled up to it and all I will say is either his brakes failed or he forgot to use them cos he just barrelled straight off into the armco. Smacked the passenger side flatish into it then span across the opening in the fence went back end into the barrier, before sliding to a rest with the passenger side on the barrier. Edited to say its all well and good to email them about next year but did you accompany it with a pictoral explanation of difference between ass and elbow???
  3. I like the beepy noise its a great optional extra. If you think the beepy noise is annoying the 4x4 we had in egypt played a jingly jangly version of bright eyes when it was in reverse--really loudly.
  4. Wow this was a cool event. Shame about that skyliner that stacked his car totally at the end though. On a positive note the Mrs did the track event and was well chuffed, she wants to go again so if there is an open day across the summer we will deffers go back to castle combe. Didn't see many of the faces at the show just everyones car. As I didn't see any ripped up turf I am assuming that dude didn't attempt a burnout then:p Roll on the next racy event.
  5. If anyone else gets turned away from scrutineering due to failing the exhaust sound check then ask them to monicker the ticket and the organisers will sort out some sort of refund if you call them on Monday. That said the tickets might be like gold dust so you may be able to flog them on at the site.
  6. I am doing a track sesh at japfest tommorow and have found out that the supposed bolt on mufflers that are available at the circuit are no-where near big enough for my HKS hyper. Anyone know how I can deaden the sound as there is a 100 db limit and as mine is an N/A with a TT hyper on its never gonna pass. Good job I phoned them to be sure as the accompanying letter makes it sound like this firm will have all the kit you need to sort out loud exhausts and it doesn't have anything bigger than 3". How many Jap motors do you lot know of with aftermarket exhausts that would fail scrutineering would be 3" exit or smaller???
  7. Oh pants I just contacted the people at the circuit that are meant to be able to furnish you with sound muffling devices to pass scrutineering and it looks like the biggest bit of kit they do is 3" which is a way too small to do anything hith my Hyper. I can almost guarantee its too loud so anyone got any ideas or am I having to sling me old exhaust system back on???
  8. I dunno my route thingumy suggests going down the 350 blanford way but I am easy whichever route people are going. As I don't have a pre-booked ticket I am gonna have to get there early.
  9. OK times up peeps we need to arrange a convoy pronto-ish. The Bournemouth massiv where are we meeting and picking up the various peeps along the route? What time are we intending on getting there? My number is 07740 647136 gimme a ring and I will attempt to co-ordinate this stuff from the bournemouth end.
  10. A lot of continentals and stuff come from germany (was what I was told when I used to buy them) but I only put them on a cak old 1.8 sierra not a TT supra. If you haven't got an lsd just dohnut the tread down on the full tread tyre till they are even if that bothers you that much lol:p
  11. Might depend a lot on the general condition of your paintworks as well. If its like mine pitted and chipped in places you could almost guarantee to lose paint flakes when you peel them off.
  12. Oh they are down to that price area now you know. The SZ aero is a fairly common car by the looks of the bbs poll so its price has dropped in line with the rest of the supra world.
  13. Red is the only colour to have a supe in IM not so HO!! It does look a touch on the shiny side as do the lights so they are either new ones or have had the polishing job done on them recently. Agree with the unlucky supra logo down the sides get shot of that short shrift lol. Also bigger wheels, new bumper, bigger spoiler, bigger brakes, bigger turbo's, nitrous, loads of bling everywhere ooops am I getting carried away again lol.
  14. Theres Japfest at castle combe this weekend which is quite a big event. Come along and join in with the group moan at not having a proper stand this year for supra's lol. Its not as far as some gigs from ya and there will be more than just supes there to look at. You can come an park next to me in the aero owners corner with the best lookin soops lol.
  15. Blue??? Blue????? Stopit man!!! Before you know it you will have XR3i decals down the side and hoofing great spots fibreglassed into the bonnet with a big blue FORD emblem across it again!!!!! Actually though thats one thing ford did get right with those cars the blue/white mix is very good. The car is starting to come together quite nicely now. Getting the rear seats done and a little more work on the fronts in a couple of weeks. My genuine article Veilside skirts should be along in a day or two. Three weeks time the car goes to the spray shop to get the skirts painted and the dodgy 11 year old paintwork attended to. Then hopefully the insurance company will have sorted Hi-supes claim out and I will get me donor vehicle in time for my insurance renewal. If you are about this evening I might be tempted to take the wagon out for a blat to yours!
  16. If you have coloured seats try and pick up a colour in those to match to. I did mine in the same red as my seats alcantara centres. Failing that mettalic/mica black looks good. I have seen a few done in silver which looks OK but I really wouldn't go with matching your exterior paint just my opinion.
  17. Wanna do the re-loom for me when I do my TT conversion???? ROFL:p
  18. Make like our Ahmish brethren and glue it on your chin instead:p
