  1. Ask Millhouse otherwise I am happy to go with 5 rather than someone we don't know
  2. Are we getting our wires crossed between the supercharger setup with a bracket we are not sure fits and an N/A T kit here?? If the vortex supercharger setup becomes affordable then I will go for that option rather than TT conversion.
  3. Ah there is a first time for everything lol. Guy knows when he is beat:p
  4. Nope I N/A'd his ass well and truly. My fwd thinking and driving skill (and bag full of lucky blind overtakes) saw me beat the venerable Simon B home.
  5. Especially if you buy from a member of this site as the car itself will be known to a lot of people and the probabilities of being sold a duffer by anyone on here is very low. The type of driving you do may influence the choice here a bit. If you do a lot of twisties then the s2k would be the better choice but if its motorway cruising and mundane town driving then the soop is particularly good at that. One thing to bear in mind is the difference in thirst of the 2 cars especially with petrol heading to a quid a litre:p
  6. No not yet but I don't need a turbo to hand wsb2 his ass on a plate lol.
  7. Witter witter witter. You sure you aren't an old woman???? I really am looking forwards to handing you your ass on a platter lol. And If you reckon you can do better than Simon B with his BPU TT car then a laff I shall surely have ha ha ha ha haaaaaaa:p
  8. I used some 2 part caliper paint on mine and so far they look OK. I have yet to pull the rears apart and service them so when you get the part numbers for the rear calpier servicing kit please post it fella.
  9. A mate of mine was the same got a 3 week ban for just over 110 on the motorway and no points. If I remember rightly the fine wasnt massive either. Pissed me right off cos I got 5 points and 100 quid fine for 50 in a very late night 30 which has since been changed to a 40 limit.
  10. 12 volt powers the thing the TRL instruction webpage tells you where to get the 12 volts from. TRL wiring for 12 volts The wire that carries the speed signal into the ecu looks like this (after you chop it obviously) pic of ecu This download if it works should explain the whole thing again from TRL dsc.exe
  11. There is a thread about this but if you take a gander at the info you will get by clicking on thors link above and looking on that site you will find out all you need to know. RE 120 mine also used to read 120 when it hit the limiter. I fitted GPS on mine whilst I was diagnosing a problem I had with my install and when indicating 120 i was only in fact doing 112 mph. Sounds like a common thing then if loads of other people have the same.
  12. Well as I only saw 1 at Japfest I reckon a Honda NSX is the way to go. Look for a minter with low miles on around a J-K reg and retain that classic car age with jap reliability Oh and a stormin norman of a car.
  13. How much are these swithes as I got outbid on ebay recently at £25 plus delivery. I think it finally went at nearly £40 with delivery of £2.50. Surely these aren't that expensive from toyota??
  14. Find yourself a lickle leprachaun and knick his pot of luck. Keep your bloomin hands off mine as I use mine for overtaking on blind bends:eek: Seriously I reckon most of these gizmo's are 90% hype and 10% bull. The only way to 100% not get caught speeding is the obvious. The jobbers that have the fixed station speed camera's all on is obviously a handy piece of kit for driving around in new or unfamiliar areas. But they don't do anything about the mobile camera's. Speed traps of the normal federal types are a bit predictable location wise and generally easy enough to spot with a bit of road awareness. On motorways you can generally even spot an unmarked car if you know what to look for. (I won't overtake any vehicle by more than 20 mph if they are sitting at legal speeds) The local rag here prints a list of where the mobile speed camera units are going to be either weekly or fortnightly if you can be bothered to look. The only other thing is to renounce your citizenship and drive someone elses car without tax insurance license or MOT that way you haven't got anything they can take away from you.
  15. Yeah cool vid specially as I am in it albeit being overtaken by a prelude!!! Gah:eek:
  16. The only other rex I noticed was a black one all done up to the nines but on a classic sunday afternoon drive lol. Which of the two scoobs did you see go off?
  17. Heh heh look at your piffling count now lol
  18. My mate did summat similar he sent them a really nice letter stating that it was a shared car btween himself and his wife and that on that particular date he was in the country (he's in the RAF and is away alot) and so it could have been either of them. He was nothing but obliging and they dropped it as they knew that the person couldn't be identified from the photo. Sometimes being nice is a better way.
  19. Cool can I have a link to a full quality one of the two reds as ours was the N/A bjz one.
  20. Paul E's rad cap played up at the last SEM wonder if this is a common problem?
  21. Its better than the baby that someone in chit chat shoved up theirs lol:p
  22. Whats that the mug was in the orange soop??? Lol If I didn't say thanks enough again thanks for supplying the track tickets fella
  23. There are at least 3 car owners that wish it was 2moro I think lol:p
  24. Well it downloads an entire 2. summat megs in less than half a second and then wont play. Now I know my connection is fast but hey thats ridiculous lol.
