i just got my renewal form from tesco £1158 for 21yr old now with 3yrs no claims I have checked policy and it even says 1996 3l injection SZ on the end of it. Should i still bother searching round??? i dont think im gonna beat that!! People who would like to vent fustration feel free to PM me

i wouldnt try and keep it down. Toyota designed it best for the car, you dont want to start running lean!! might cause engine problems and big bills for a little save in fuel!

some places yes. I have found if u get someone who knows even small bit bout cars or get the manager and say a TT has 300 BHP mine has 220BHP justify it, they come back to me wit a lower price.

Tesco i am definatly insured as a mark 4 at the moment at 1100. I can 100% guarntee that looked at documents only other day for my renewal date. Remember i got my last insurance through someone i know who works for them. Am a little worried bout this not doing NA anymore under 25. As mate has left tesco insurance now

ok using confused and my registration being entered it picks the car up excellant!!! Anyway it gives me choice later on of NA UK model or import. Now if i choose UK model, would i be wrong if i could play dumb! or choose UK and when iget the price ring up and say its a NA import does that make a difference.

its the tyres at the end of the day, if they aint gripping then u can have best brakes in world but ull just lock up and slide off instead of slowing slowly with brakes that have faded and still be in control. I have had fade on my J-spec but mine are warped so that is not gonna help at all

surely the idea of a aftermarket suspension set up (not just springs) is that it can have the harder,more rigid ride, whilst still being able to take the roughness british roads have to offer. Obviously theres got to be a bit of give and take. but ud have to drop ur wheel into a pot hole to get it to max out on travel, ur not dropping it 60mm like on saxos etc.... anyway not like many pot holes on british roads

i think your gonna have too much body roll for ur liking at stock. Dont get me wrong it is good,otherwise wouldnt be on the car, but lowering with the correct kit and front and rear struts and u have a more rigid car that likes to go round corners and can handle the bumps smoothly. I think theres too much body roll for my liking but my escort before hugged the road! Plus the weak point of the supra...going round corners...might as well get it right even if u have to sell the wife

surely you'd want it lowered a bit, there is quite a bit of body roll stock. who has the CW setup i read things on here bout that being good if u sold ur suspension...whats it running on now lol

true was just looking for that extra bit, surely it got to slow u down a bit though!!!it has too,wind resistance and all, like apparently a polished car,is alot more aerodynamic then a car unpolished and dirty. (makes sense) and in normal 'real world' makes minimal difference but on the drag ur after 100'th of a second, everything helps!
