  1. God help you if a part ever goes bang..... Guy on the phone: is that a UK or a Jspec?? you: ermmm Guy on phone: manual or auto You: Manual now If u need any help wit anythin give us a shout. (unless it involves taking out front electic seats with no power ) Do u get the loom with it??
  2. it was gonna be unique before!!! now it just gonna be special id like to hear dudes name for ur car. it not a lardy uk or a jspec then lol
  3. in Bmth there is a Scooby that is a cab. I think he charges a little extra. But i bet u when ur pissed thats one hell of a ride home
  4. yes its that one, it dont look to bad near the rear in that pic, but every panel was bent somewhere
  5. i can answer this one for you guys who are TT there will always be a gain as the air will always be cooled no matter what meaning more dense air allowing you to get more air mass in. the engine bay is always much hotter then outside the car, so there will always be big gains in temperature loss. whether it 35 degres on 10 degrees outside under the bonnet will only vary by a smaller amount I was wondering about the dry ice part myself?!?
  6. i blame ur missus i seen how she drives unlucky mate well at least u got time to clean that engine up and the parts im expecting it to be blinging now! it aint stopped for good though after time and effort we took getting that thing apart
  7. i dont know good question but isnt copper heavy and if carbon is made very thin coz at of day inside the box it doesnt need the strength but just the shape. the coldness will be able to get through. i have enquired about 3" and 4" systems and 3" is in development as we speak. she said 4" is a possibility. At end of day if you want copper you can just buy the box and put your own piping through it. Im slowly edging towards going for this. though the salesperson gonna be working for her money Alex can u think of any more important questions i can ask??
  8. I asked some questions and heres the replys..... 1. Is Dry ice easy to get hold of? DRY ICE CAN BE PURCHASED AT YOUR LOCAL SUPERMARKET - IT IS VERY EASY AND INEXPENSIVE TO PURCHASE. 2. How long would it last? WE HAVE TESTED THE DIIS IN HOT RACE TRACK CONDITIONS IN THE SUMMER TIME, THE ICE IS SEALED IN AN INSULATED CONTAINMENT UNIT - ONE FULL LOAD WILL LAST ABOUT 1.5 - 2.0 HOURS - WE ARE ALSO DEVELOPING A CARBON FIBER INSULATED COOLER WHICH MOUNTS IN THE TRUNK OF YOUR VEHICLE TO STORE AN ADDITIONAL 10 POUNDS OF DRY ICE FOR UP TO 5 DAYS IN THE SUMMER TIME. 3. Any complications using this on a Turbo machine (i presume not) ABSOLUTELY NOT - THIS SYSTEM DOES NOT AFFECT THE PRESSURIZED AIR IN ANY WAY BESIDES MAKING IT COOLER. THE INTAKE PIPE IS SEALED FROM THE DRY ICE, SO THERE ARE NO BOOST LEAKS OR PRESSURE LOSSES AT ALL - ONLY COLDER DENSER INTAKE CHARGE. THIS SYSTEM WILL WORK ON ANY TYPE OF ENGINE - PERIOD. 4. Any kit being made for toyota supra NA and TT mk4? YES, WE WILL DEFINETLY BE DEVELOPING A SYSTEM FOR THE TT MK4 - MORE THAN LIKELY WITH CARBON FIBER TUBING TO KEEP THE WEIGHT DOWN, AND WE WILL ALSO BE MANUFACTURING THE DRY ICE CONTAINMENT BOX IN INSULATED CARBON FIBER AS WELL. THE ENTIRE WEIGHT OF THE SYSTEM WILL BE AROUND 2 LBS. OR LESS. THE UNIT CAN ALSO BE USED IN CONJUNCTION WITH ANY EXISTING INTAKE SYSTEM, BY ADAPTING IT INTO THE INTERCOOLER OR INTAKE PIPING. THE UNIT IS AVAILABLE ALONE FOR $275.00 WITHOUT PIPING. 5. Would you be able to ship to the UK and any discoutn for a bulk order? DEFINETLY A DISCOUNT FOR GROUP ORDERS - UP TO A 30% DISCOUNT DEPENDING ON QUANTITY. AND SHIPPING TO THE UK IS NO PROBLEM AT ALL - WE CHARGE A FLAT RATE OF $60.00 FOR SHIPPING TO THE UK. anyone with more questions please just ask me and i will get in contact with the person now dealing with me. they are very quick at answering and give good answers. ( i got a salesperson who knows what they talking bout!!!! )
  9. but without the damage,i always want to gun it when its all cool under the engine and the thing is just ready to eat some road but im good as i like my engine working and not worn
  10. good point about the size, i wonder if it would fit a 3 inch pipe. do you reckon a big gain would be noticed on a NA. I mean for the box alone at moment is only bout 150 quid due to exhange rate,if you then get right pipe made up and put induction kit on it. surely a nice increae would be noticed for cheap bucks as well
  11. was just reading the Spec and it says that it is about a 40 - 50 degree drop in temperature. A intercooler spray surely dont drop that much??Having this after or maybe before the intercooler on the pipework would surely make a big difference to the temperature of the air going in, allowing more air due to density that be like starting the car on a cold morning and having that perkyness it has
  12. does this sound any good to anyone. I think it could work well. Espically as you can just by the dry ice container itself and fitting it too most cars http://www.01designsystem.com/diis_home.html

  15. It has to be the other way round, my rear bumper, spats and side skirts are the white ist parts of my car!!! lol
  16. Good meet really enjoyed it. Good turn out and some nice cars. New forest trek was intersting anyway, people couldnt help but look when 13 supras just poddle through the car park look forward to pics. Me and steve w2 had a nice blast home pulled over as he thought my bonnet had come loose at 130 leptons luckerly was fine. Nice to meet g9rge and that is a lovely looking UK spec model DB car - what can i say that interior best i seen by a mile and the exhaust note totally impressed by. Ill be over this week to look at the doner motor
  17. id personaly rip it out if had a crash or watever, as they arent gonna cover the cost of blown turbos if u get a bit of boost creep! or do what i do when they say something like that. Ring back next day u get someone different and if your lucky someone who knows bout cars
  18. do i get a go in urs steve.....in straight line of course
  19. i cant go up to basingstoke meet im busy later on. i know where studland is actually. I just had to think bout how to get there and head for sandbanks and get the ferry lol as for new forest in summer ermm no not really. theres always swanage as well or corfe castle??
  20. can i ask roughly how much it is and are all mods declared??
  21. ok sounds good new forest or studland, only problem with studland is, if we get split up, even i dont know how to get there and im local lol whilst new forest be easier to stay together as roads are quieter
  22. im meetin g9rge first so i am 99% sure i will be there, as long as everything good at work. WE could go for a drive to say rockley again, only problem being good weather = busy roads, busy beach areas which may cause problems for non locals. or head out to new forest area, that way no one wil lget seperated! nice weather and good pics under trees
  23. well i got to be at work now for 10 but it was too good money to turn down. I should be there for 30mins tops, but if something wrong then god knows it just a warning but should see u all tomorrow with out a prob, just hope i have time for a wash and a polish!
