  1. Hi after a set of wheels, would love ccw classics as they seem to set off RSP very well. Let's see what you have.
  2. So after a long wait I finally find a car that was pretty amazing and jumped at the chance to own it. So the car was originally silver NA auto areo top, imported around 2007/2008, 1 older owner for 11years or so, from what I'm told and looking at the mot history he hard did any miles. He sold to his mot tester who from what I can gather flipped the car and made some money. Last owner did a full project and I'll try to document everything that has been done. Chassis is sitting on 54k miles. Full glass out and engine out respray Original twin turbo gte engine fitted Engine had all new seals water pump and detailed. Chassis has all new lower control arms all powder coated. All heat shields painted. New ac condenser and regas New battery Clifford 650mk II Standard face-lift 17inch wheels. Nurspec exhaust Yellow shocks Currently running BPU. Paintwork is exceptionally good I cannot fault it. Jobs to do. Fit new areo top seals order from TCB all 4 Remove rear glass and fit new rear window seal. Find some 18inch wheels that suit RSP. Future plans, new modern 7 speed or 8 speed gear box. I've seen that a a couple of companies are developing the conversions f80 has been done. However the new AA80e and Zf8 are potentially on the horizon. Will post some pictures up soon.
  3. Can be closed now got a new supra, not manual however there are some plans I have in mind.
  4. Went to see this the other day. Needs full respray body aliment, probably new front bumper and head lights are at strange angles or just the bumper throwing it out. . Didn't open the bonnet but there was signs of oil on the underside. Not been for a test drive or heard it run. It could be a great car but needs a fair amount of work, made an offer but was rejected. Bags of history on here which is great however every panel needs paint or re alignment. Chassis looked OK which was a plus. The owner has been very honest with the add in saying it needs a respray, and did offer a walk around video before I went but it was only an hour away on the train so was easy enough.
  5. Possibly getting to the wrong time of year, however still looking for a project. Or as my original title 6speed.
  6. Sent a private message, not sure if you have seen it but I could be interested in a project. Any updates with where you are with this?
  7. Yep I would have purchased it as fast but on check once a day.
  8. Ah shame. Typical would have enjoyed this one. Good luck who ever got it
  9. Lovely car, odd as I had the opposite car colours in my garage last year. Black rev 5 turbo. Red 93 TT auto supra. Sadly can't justify the cost of the 6speed or I'd have messaged you. My supra took 6month to sell and it was in amazing Condition, but was winter time. However my mr2 sold in 1 day last week on ebay. Was listed for the same price for 3 months over Xmas period and then sold in February. Purchased it back 10 days later. This will sell even tho lockdown and no work for many, some still have money.
  10. Made 570 bhp on a mr2 turbo 2.0 engine cams and meth injection G25 660-92 Mike at SRD mapped it. Think he was impressed
  11. - - - Updated - - - I was looking at this car, not in person Few points I noticed I have additional photos aswell Bonnet alignment (photo now removed and re angled) Overspray on the chassis(red spray marks everywhere) Rear bumper looks a different colour in some photo's Lack of import information, no documents no service history Mot check showed oil leak Minor stuff Petrol cap alignment Silver engine bay, can say what else no doors were opened Different front seats Rear torn seat Horrendous body kit Horrendous wheels I worked it out financially you be better of buying on of the proven listed cars on the sale section. White one or the black one near the top. However it could be a good buy. He rejected my 18.5k offer. This has also been listed on and offer since near February
  12. Still looking for a 6 speed supra. Can be a project car that needs lots of work I'm open to ideas
  13. Will mention I'm sure landbeasts probably got around 18k for my one. I ended up with less then I paid for it just unlucky I guess. however it went to someone in the UK. It did sell for me outside of the UK but he was a time waster. Not sure how many sell for top money in the UK.
  14. Thanks yeah last couple I see where circa 13k I think. Could import one for 20k ish I believe which could be a way to go later if it's rust free and decent history. My brother lives in Tokyo so maybe he can help out later. To be honest I doubt I'll be able to buy one but if you don't ask you won't get.
  15. Financial reason originally however now in a good place, but that TT auto was to nice to modify, with my resale of my MR2 there will be a wanting for a supra again. I Will even be looking at a rolling shell down the line if I can't get a 6speed NA. I love to work on cars and love the supra/2jz platform. So My opinion on the auto manual swap, sadly I wouldn't want to drop 10k on a conversion from auto to manual without trying the box out 1st, bare in mind you dont see many adds for the 6 speed on a pallet let alone in a car to try 1st. It's just doesn't make sence to go this route.
  16. In no rush, can't justify the costs for a twin turbo sadly. Let me know what you have. Obviously going to be rare and especially asking for a specific colour, however let me know what you have. I'm sure there are a few about the forums.
  17. I raffled my MR2 turbo, then got it back for 7k less then I sold it for. Raffle companies work wonders for fast sales.
  18. So could someone explain what I would need from a base car being an auto. Ecu Gear surrounding and stick Clutch/brake peddles Clutch? T56 box + import duty etc Labour to Install. Could someone offer some sort of costs or point me in a direction of a topic which covers this.
  19. Hi guys What's the general opinions on these boxes from the USA. Been advised these are good and obviously you can replace parts. Anyone got a real world experience? Would love to buy the 6 speed getrag v160/v161 but personally just don't see a 20+ year old box worth the risk, even if they are bullet proof. Can people even repair these now if there are no new parts being made?
  20. No idea mate landbeasts are sorting it for me already, just a waiting game. Been 4 weeks so far
  21. Vin number Z was changed to a 2. Simple DVLA error but I need to wait 4-6 weeks which is the annoying
  22. Well that was annoying, the logbook had an error so DVLA will take 4-6 week to fix, USA buyer pulled out which is fair I guess. Will probably bring this home and keep in a couple of week. Can't fault landbeasts service been excellent. However they are still actively selling it so if you are interested then send them a message on Facebook or call them.
