  1. So the recaros i have are on oem recaro mr2 rails. Is there any go to seat rail that works with recaro seats and the mkiv chassis. Obviously mkiv recaro rails but im gueasing these are rare?
  2. Sadly couldn't see any marks on the diff do you no where these would be. I no it was from a 1998 vvti aristo gte.
  3. Have a fair bit of surplus items from a aristo engine project Car had 60k miles drove fine from Birmingham to kent. Got the following Twin turbos no shaft play Drive shafts and bolts Hub shafts and bolts Diff Automatic gearbox. Inlet plenum and throttle body no runners All intake, oil lines, parts from the engine Ac condeser Coils Aristo loom. Was spliced with something hks but only a couple of wires were cut. Down pipe and cat off some description, slight rattle to the cat so maybe just good for scrap Collection kent, Faversham Job lot £750
  4. Only £80 ill have to wire it but it comes with all the wires and switches. Getting the alcantara fabric renewed as it faded. P.s might have that vvti air box you need.

The car has/is been in for a glass out oem red colour change from the previous owners gold effect dark red colour, couldnt match the front bumper which was repainted after the car was complete by the previous owner, so i bit the bullet, £5000 later it will be perfect. The bbs wheels will be staying so the original brand new rotas will be on the car unless i find something else jdm/period correct. Ill update once this comes out of the body shop.
  7. Fair points guys regarding original spec of the car, something personally i dont care about but obviously does to some/many. The condition far out weighs what it started life as for me. Will bare in mind, part of me wants to keep as i no ill never find one in this condition again, however building a mr2 widebody with a 2jz vvti 6 speed manual in the back with a g35 1050 turbo strapped to it, i cant really see it being used, unless i take the family out.
  8. Hi all still for sale, however ive not really bothered other than here facebook and a unlimited time add on autotrader. Silverstone auctions reached out to me which i may take up in the new year. Ive had a few offers between 30 and 36k but i keep thinking about keeping as prices are only going one way. But i will need the funds at some point. The car is truly immaculate and anyone at the 1st GT tuners club will be able to vouch for this fact,(think a few went from here) Price is higher then the average car for sure buts its a low mileage chassis being 54k miles. This has everything new or refurbished to better than oem condition. I tend not to use it and havent other then one event to ascot with 40 or so other supras. Its currently sorn, mot due in the new year and not available until then as the storage company is closed until new year. Thinking about some new seats for this.

    Hi thought id drop a post about this. So i have been looking for a daily car for some time now, I kept returning to a aristo, owned is300, gs300 but couldn't find one i liked. Needed a blue or red haha. However i ended up buying a ford st220 v6 3.0 manual. It was alright but for £1100 i shouldn't really expect to much. Sold it 3 months later. So i needed an estate/wagon petrol turbo. obviously the forester sti has been on my radar aswell for so long, but in the last 1 to 2 years they seem to have gone from 8 to 10k to 15k ish for a decent low milage import which is to much. Ive looked at stageas, but rust has put me off, was a few others but nothing really that i got excited for. So with the 20 years of mr2 ownerships it only seems sensible to get a caldina gt4 n spec, awd, and what a lovely example i found. 1 owner in japan. 41k miles. Highest grade i believe on import, i couldn't find a mark or scratch on the car or inside. It has also come with factory trd front rear and side skirts. Anyone else had a caldina. Believe there is around 30 in the uk currently

  13. Looking for some advise between link or syvecs for the ecu on this mr2 project. Full custom wiring to be done so no pluging options Set up will be single g35 1050, 1200cc injectors. Head work, cams etc. Currently unsure if ill be going forged at this stage but may end up for future proofing the set up. Potential possibility of a flex fuel system with a 2nd row of injectors. Ill probably end up with needing traction control, got no abs so some sort of wheel sensors will be required. Maybe wheelie or front lift sensors if i go more towards the drag set up. Will require the normal saftey sensors as you would expect. Aim of the car will be a bit of everything, track, drag, street. Whats your thoughts will be mapped at SRD.

  16. Hi Im mid mr2 project with a 3.0gte vvti, garret g35 1050 turbo set up. Im struggling to find any dyno plots out there. ive found the attached picture. ideally I'm interested in when the boost is made, as in say 1 bar/ equivalent PSI. the dyno picture attached starts at 3k rpm which doesn't show the full picture. Does anyone have any graphs of this set up. event just the non vvti will be helpful. comments on the page Dylan says, “turbo testing has been fun with this 2jz power plant. First, we tried the G35-1050 1.21 A/R exhaust housing and at 8000 RPM it made 860 wheel horsepower on 31 psi of boost with exhaust back pressure of 48 lbs. The second turbo we tested is the G42-1200 1.01 A/R exhaust housing and at 8600 RPM it made 946 wheel horsepower on 31 psi of boost with exhaust back pressure of 32 lbs” “The G35-1050 made almost 200 ft-lb more torque at 4500 rpm, which is where we need it most. We will run the G35-1050 for most of the FD season because it makes good power with better spool. I can’t wait to get out and race, Hughes says!
  17. Thanks mate, these are supra fitment 9 fronts 10 rears. Ill try to keep hold for my current project, 2jz vvti mr2, g35 1050 turbo. Also going to be a widebody.
  18. As per my supra. Land and office to buy so selling the cars. 16k with bss lm wheels 14k with the rotors. Hi welcome to the listing of my TRD widebody Rev 3 Turbo. Great condition. body kit fits well, everyone tells me its an amazing looking car I personally love it, however I have bigger plans going forward explained below. originally red, the car prior to the body kit was immaculate, genuine Rev 3 turbo, circa 75k miles. engine bay has been refreshed, chrome lid with dual fans. wheels are genuine BBS lm, Supra fitment extremely rare and costly, however these do fit on the mr2. as you can see. wheel alone would be circa 2k if you can find a set. 10inch rears, 9inch fronts 18inch, recently refurbished. second wheel option is I believe rotas, see photos for comparison. unique TRD end caps on the spoiler. un marked interior, no boost gauges, or holes. Ecu has a piggyback, not sure what it is but I believe it adds a little performance. will investigate later, car is in locked heated storage. brand new BC coilovers. colour wise is slightly off red in the shade some sort of gold effect, this really stands out in the sun light. I have owned it for less then 6months, ive probably done 400miles since. my supra has done the same in the last year. so these only get used in the dry sunny days. the MR2 needs nothing other than to be enjoyed.

Year:1996 Facelift: some bits Mileage: 55k miles MOT remaining: January 2022 Car's location: Faverhsam kent Modifications: Wheels, suspenion new front Zun sport grilles. Good bits: all of it Bad bits: One stone chip repair to front bumper and wing. Very small less then 7mm diameter PRICE 40k Full restoration last year, all nuts and bolts are clean or new. underside is as clean as you will ever find. last 2 garages are amazed at the condition. that being the cleanest they have seen. Chassis has 54000miles on it, originally like most being a NA auto, this was converted last year into a Twin turbo. Engine was from a mkiv supra, circa 100k mils, no smoke or issues, pulls amazingly well. gearbox was from a low mileage car Twin turbo set up was from a 50k Aristio. resprayed in RSP. Interior is standard cloth, no holes or dash issue. everything works as it should, AC works could probably do with a regas or top up however still works. Brandnew KHS hypermax shocks sub 200miles. New custom wheels 18inch, 11.5inch rear, 10inch fronts on new AR1 semi slick tryes, less then 150miles. exhaust hks, nice and sensible. zun sport front grilles new Aerotop seals.

Twin turbo auto, was origonal a NA 54k miles on the chassis 100k miles on the engine 50k miles on turbos auto box shafts diff etc. full nut and bolt rebuild. hks hyper max suspenion 300miles old custom rims 10 fronts,11.5 rears 18inch, Ar1 Tryes all round, 300miles on these. hks exhaust immaculate and detailed underside, listed for 45k
  21. ive listed mine for over the top money, partly in hope that nobody pays it, however if they do or get close then ill sell it, ive only done 500miles this year since owning it, its amazing, currently building a 2jz vvti rear engine Mr2, once this is complete ill probably want to drive this as its modified and a project car that will always be worked on which i enjoy a lot, current supra I don't wish to modify as its way to nice, ( apart from wheels and suspension easy to revert). so lets see its funny ive listed it high on the above reason, so many people have gave me the laughing face on facebook as to be expect maybe?

So finally got chance to drive the car today. 10j fronts 275 35 18 nankang ar1 semi slicks 11.5j rears 315 30 18 nankang ar1 semi slicks Hks kyper max coilovers, (thanks lee p) Tracking completed today, and rearly enjoyed the car, piwer delivery was excellent even thonits bpu.
