I need a black Sunvisor hold clip but have only found gray ones. Has anyone painted interior pieces black and if so what's the recommended method and paint? GT

The plastic cover lift it just a touch carefully only to uncover the top part of the handle, then use a small flat bladed screwdriver and slide it under the grab handle, from the botton into the clip. Flatten the handle, pushing it towards the pillar then pull it towards the headliner while maintaining it flat against the pillar and using the screwdriver to help release it from the clip.

I did this recently. Found a post online talking about removing the handle. You need to pull the handle upwards and use a flat screwdriver simultaneously lifting a small tab from underneath the handle. The handle will come out from the top and then you can pull it down. After you remove the screws that hold the metal clips of the handle l, remove metal clips and remove plastic pillar.

You are right, huge mistake on my part. Though it was the tt but didn't read. Apologies. If anything I would add what 6k to 8k on top of whatever it finishes, thinking that is the difference between auto NAs and auto TTs normally?

I strongly doubt that, there was or there is still advertised a silver aerotop tt for 17k. And you have the red UK spec tt auto non aerotop for 15k, 10k difference with issues sorted sound like a lot to me.

How is the underside? Any rips on the seats, cloth or leather? Air con cold?

ChrisH, this was really helpful. I have changed the bolts now, hopefully don't have to change the roof panel like evinX mentioned. Gotta take the car out and see

I think evinX wanted to post this here: 90901-09004 You need 2 of them. These rarely go bad and if the threads on yours are stripped then the captive nuts inside the roof have had it to. Which would mean...new roof panel and 2 new front bolts.
