The two front bolts of the roof are coming loose over long distance drives. I keep tighten them to no avail, am I missing a trick here?

I have a 2.5" scratch on my hood that was badly repaired and painted over by one of the previous owners. I have been quoted £280 to repair it and re-lacquer part of the hood, will I notice any difference in the hood where the re-lacquered section joins the untreated section? I got the impression the garage didn't want to do a whole hood respray, they assure me that it will have a good finish.

Thanks James but that doesn't answer my questions. I am after those mods that people will recommend a new person to do in their experience, sort of a top 5 mods. Also the list of maintenance parts that they recommend to keep a stock of.

Trying to put a list together of things to buy and work towards to and I know this is very individual. - So in regards to parts, which ones would you say are a must to have: say oil filters, air filters, what else? - With mods, excluding engine swaps and transmission swaps, what will be the first few things that you will recommend? - Who provides the best fitment and quality carbon parts? - Carbon parts: Quality and fitments, what to avoid or which ones are the recommended vendors?

Where or who are better to source a TT engine + gearbox + pedals +all other parts necessaries for a conversion these days? There is someone on ebay offering a drive in drive out TT6 conversion for 15k. Anyone heard of them or used them before?
