I managed to disconnect the thermistor/room temperature hose (I think is 88669B in the diagram) when I pulled my dash. I put the dash back in place a while ago now. The end disconnected is the one from the aspirator (88897-22100). Is it possible to connect it again without taking the dash out?

I read the mod in some very old posts and they mentioned a Dorman 59004 throttle return spring, you hook one end to the level arm of the wastegate and the other end to a hole in the water pump and it prevents the wastegate from opening at high rpms.

Can someone point me to the throttle spring to do the wastegate sorting mod ? I tried finding one online but not sure if it is a 9" length or not. Pretty sure my wastegate is opening.

Agree, don't sell it short. This is desirable car. You need to get it inspected, rust wise especially. Maybe get someone from the club to check it. Where are you based? -

Are you sure it was made in 1994? ,it has vvti engine, clocks and tail light which would indicate it was made from 1997 onwards. -

My rear fog light is not working, I have narrowed it down to the switch not getting the 12v feed. I am not sure where it comes from as the cable gets lost into one of the 3 groups of cables that connect to the airbag ecu under the armrest, hope that makes sense. Will it be OK to tap into another 12v feed, open to suggestions which one. Ideally I want a switched 12v source.
