1. Hi Mark Sorry it's a no pal (I love it too much) You would be amazed how many people want to buy a UK 6 speed since I bought yours I cannot understand why someone didn't snap it up before me! Quick update on your old car, new boot lid resprayed and ready to fit also underneath all took back to bare metal and refinished, spare set of std UK wheels shot blasted and powder coated, nearly new set ok UK calipers ready to fit, rocker cover gaskets replaced along with refurbished rocker covers and paint bought for full respray in 202 black windows will be taken out etc. Oh and the seat motor sorted the hardest job yet and took two attempts! I can see through the windows now as I have removed the tints I have garaged it for the winter costing me a carcoon for the mkiii supra £550 ouch! Keep in touch are you still in the same mobile no? Regards Mark
2. Hi Mark Wow I am amazed! Is this an addition to the Imprezza or a replacement. I feel quite lucky to have bought your old one now! I would have said a tt auto is the way to go. Regards Mark
3. They will need a refurb and I have just had a set done at a cost of £260 So without tyres I would offer £220 posted to the UK pm me if ok.
4. As per subject full set of front and rears j-spec OEM 16s alloys complete with centre caps condition/colour unimportant with or without tyres. Thanks Mark
5. I second exactly what Rider is saying I personally think 18K for a very good car is going to be a struggle unless you fall very lucky. If I was in your shoes I would be viewing every manual car for sale wherever in the country it is. I never buy based on pictures, I personally think by viewing quite a few gives you a good idea what you are looking for & when a good one sticks out from the crowd I remember well looking nearly 20 years ago for a MKIII Supra and 99% of cars were rough then a soon as I set eyes on my future car I knew it was the one so clean straight and original although I returned 3 times to view it before handing money over and I paid double the going rate! Only now 20 years later is it worth what I paid back then (they too are shooting up in value). Happy Christmas!
6. They sound fine price incl p&p please I can pay by pay pal ok? Pm sent Thanks Mark
7. Still after some of these as jay jay couldn't find his. Please let me know what you have condition not that important as the will be refinished to match my wheels.
8. Hi Everyone I am with Rider on this one I think standard is most probably going to be the most desirable in years to come the attention my car gets is simply unbelievable at the side of a modified model. I have exhibited at car shows for 20+ years and the most commented thing in all those years has been look an air box! Now look how wanted and rare they have become. Supras have always been modified that's why I think the standard cars will increase by a larger percentage. Also look at the prices of standard bumpers etc. Why because modifying dates standard doesn't even early single turbo cars are old hat now. I always buy a car for what it is not what it could be if I wanted to go really fast I would buy a GTR (I also own a RS4 again standard) I am fascinated about the amount of people looking to source a UK 6spd especially standard surely this people seeing the vin plate rarity also what intrigues me is the value as no one is willing to sell it's simply a sellers market not a buyers so I think we are closer than ever to selling for the insurance valuation figure. I owned a Corolla Ae86 years ago again completely as MrT intended (sold it for £1500) there was one on flebay the other day at 35k again factory standard I have never seen a modified one for anything near that price. Time will tell.
9. I think it's got your name on it because it's 040!
10. They sound great please let me a price incl. delivery. Thanks Mark
11. As title if you have any either 1 or a full set please let me know if you are willing to sell. Pre-Face lift but I would consider face lift ones too. Thanks Mark
12. Hi Tom Did you get the electrical problems sorted? Thanks Mark
13. Ditto absolutely although i travelled the length and breadth of the UK years ago (when all we had was the Auto trader on a Thursday) looking for a mint mkiii Supra then to buy my ideal car 5 mins from home! Although my recently purchased Mkiv UK 6spd was a 600 mile round trip so I think distance should not be an issue. That's my opinion anyway. Good look as they do not hang around for long when they pop up!
14. Hi are the motors in the drivers seat working ok?
15. Hi Tom As Al stated what work is required? I have a mechanic mate in Sheffield who works on any make of car and is excellent from a simple service to full engine rebuilds nothing phases him (pm me if you would like his number) or there is a company called Lex-Tech (near Rother Valley) my dad has a RX450h and has been highly recommended but not used them as yet, apparently he was the top mechanic at Lexus Sheffield and they still use his knowledge! Also Keron is only in Leicester which is pretty local if you really want a specialist to look after your car. If its modifications/upgrades people seem to use Keron, SRD, Chris Wilson or Wiffbits (sorry if i missed any) all worth travelling for. Thanks Mark
16. Looks very good but has it either been under sealed or all painted black underneath?
17. Hi Pal Not in a rush, just do not need it, at £40 incl. post (it is going to cost me £12.00 to courier via work) I might as well keep it. Obviously I paid far too much for it (although I did think it was glass!) Thanks Mark
18. Bump Price reduced to £95 or make me a sensible offer! Collection welcome from Sheffield.
19. As subject this could do with a refurb (I don't think this unit has been split before) or use as is. Some scratches are on the lense but will flat and polish out and a screw is missing from one of the bulb holders (this is just a counter sunk self tapper so easy to replace) I bought this on the understanding it was a UK glass one (as a spare) its not so just want to recoup my money back! £95 delivered to UK address
20. Hi I am interested in the A/C setup does it have the A/C Rad included too? obviously condition so pics. please.
21. Hi Air cond set up includes what? (Sorry if it's a dumb question!) Thanks Mark
22. Is that the blue car you were looking at mentioned in another thread? Under trays also missing plus I agree the rear quarter looks to have a nice dent. The worry is what else are the pictures not showing as its easy too see the obvious (cars mostly look good in pictures!) If you buy through an importer can you refuse the car on collection as not described or do they sort any issues for you included in the price? I would expect its quite dusty as if you look at most cars abroad they are very dusty, personally I would prefer an untouched car rather than a valeted one when buying as you see an honest vehicle not a tarted up one.
23. I saw this car at the weekend at the NEC it is very nice and if a sorted high powered supra is what you are after I don't think you can go far wrong. What is happening every one who had cars on the stand at the NEC seem to be all of a sudden buying or selling their car! GLWS though. Have you considered returning it back to standard the selling all the updated parts as I am sure that would be more lucrative!
