  1. I have pm'd an offer regarding the sideskirts.
  2. Previous owner fitted an uprated pump about 2 years ago. Thankyou for the input though. This fault is intermittent, have done around 1700miles in the last year and its happened twice. First time i checked every vsv for resistance at 20°c, all looked ok put it back together and she worked again. That was summer 19' but its not been used over winter and then barely used since due to lockdown. I have a sneaky feeling that with heat one of the vsv's resistance is going out of spec as earlier on before stuff got heat soaked we had both turbo's playing nicely.
  3. Paid £200 for a mint bonnet, so that sounds about right for that.
  4. No worries i wasnt sure, either way if it goes to a radical resistance when i add heat its probably goosed. I should get chance to test them this weekend. I will report my findings.
  5. You mean lowers with heat? [emoji848]
  6. Just thinking, as you do on a sunday night. I tested all the vsv's last time with the engine cold and they were all acceptable resistance. When the vsv's warm up with engine bay temp could the resistance be unacceptable? Would make sense as both times its happened it was warm, i had both turbo's when the engine bay was cooler.
  7. Ive got a pdf for all vsv checks, so i'll go through them. Thanks
  8. Had an issue today with the supra, went to the supermarket on it. On the way we had 2nd turbo, saw 15psi at ome point (wasnt thrashing her) then went for fuel. On the way back no second turbo at 4k, at the transition point i had around 8.2psi. Went past 4k and it actually dropped to around 7psi. Would a good place to look be the egcv/vsv for the egcv? Had a similar issue last year, went through all vsv's and pipe work and didnt find anything. Drove cottectly after re-assembly though.
  9. I honestly couldnt say, the whifbitz ones are around £250 new.
  10. Ah thats cool. Ive got veilside at the mo. Would like to go oem+ in the future.
  11. Does anyone have the whifbitz (fibreglass) oem jdm style skirts fitted? Are they good quality? Would like genuine oem skirts but they seem hard to find. Anyone have a set to sell? Thanks in advance
  12. Gutted i didnt look yesterday, would have snapped up the spark plug cover.
  13. I had ls400 calipers on my szr na and they were a massive upgrade over the jap 2 pots. Didnt track the car and i never found the bite to be lacking during fast road use.
  14. Id love a manual tt6 but it will be well out of my price range now
  15. I offered the original seller a swap for my e92 m3. He wasnt interested. It looked a clean and tidy one, was there a lot of work to get it running right etc, before the cosmetic tidy up and mods.
  16. Anybody got a brake fluid reservoir cap, used condition is fine as long as it seals. Mine wont anymore for some reason.
  17. I have an ez bleed but its a pump through the master cylinder type. Doesnt have a fitting for the supra either. Doh!! Anyways thsnks for the help folks, bled the master cylinder as per manual then all 4. Much better pedal, feels more progressive and bites hard around 1/2 travel rather than starting at half pedal. Only issue now ive found the m/c lid wont fit on properly one side always lifts up and can be lifted off with little effort. Have the oem part number 47230, just where to buy? Toyota only?
  18. Thanks dunk, ive seen the manuals being referred to a few times but couldnt find them. Didnt think to look on the main welcome page.
  19. Thanks for that i will have a go. I figured normal brake bleeding procedure would clear air out the m/c but i may be wrong.
  20. I have rebuilt mh calipers recently (fronts) due to braided lines i clamped flat bar over the banjo end but it still weeped through and the system ran dry. Have tried bleeding a few times but still feel spongy and no feel until half way down. My jspec tt auto has trac and abs so i should follow the tecnique above?
  21. Hi mate, loving the supra. Amazing buildand a lot of great work you have done yourself. I see you have the grannas racing t56, whats it like? Id love to do a manual conversion but ones ive seen using a 350z box all seem to complain about noise etc. Id try and build a budget manual with a 2nd hand t56 etc
  22. Can the mkiv be fully adjusted in stock form, or are there set front camber bolts etc.
  23. I entered, but didnt win. It must be a fix haha
  24. I used to work as a gearcutter for about 10 years, about 15 years ago. Theres no reason i can see why these gears and syncro's cant be re made. If only they werent so rare and expensive id buy a scrap box and get to work.
