  1. Just a quick one guys, I currently have a Uk spec TT Supra with W58 Gearbox/spec stage 3 clutch and UK spec front and rear big brakes/pads/discs, all fairly new might I add. The car is running just over 400bhp atm. I was considering fitting some K-sport front and rear kits. 356mm front and rear with 8pots front and 4 pots rear. My question to you is, is it worth it? Would it make sense to upgrade or would I be better off using the money elsewhere on the car? As there are a few other bits i would like to attend to. Any advise is as always most appreciated. Regards Ashley
  2. Came across this site whilst searching for 3D automotive design jobs this afternoon and it lets you choose from over 600 cars including the Supra MK4 and modify them in a 360 degree 3D view. Absolutely brilliant for anyone wanting to see what there Supra project could potentially look like http://www.3dtuning.com/en-US/tuning/toyota/supra/coupe-1998 Regards Ash

    My 3D Supra

Very nice. Did you render that using vray or mental ray? Also what software, max or maya?
  4. Well if you want I could start to create a 3D model of the supra mk4, then render it out and see what you guys think. Then if you wished to use it I could provide the max file, so you can edit colour/paintwork etc. Do you guys want the supra mk4 model to be standard, I.e no aftermarket body kit etc? This will take about a month to make perfect, but I am more than happy to do so if you guys would like me to. Gives me something to add to the portfolio Regards Ash
  5. Very nice car, hope to see it one day soon
  6. Lol. Great to hear all the feedback. Will be in contact Ash if I sort my car out lol.
  7. Ash used to be a trader on here, but as he mentioned to me, he gets more business from BWM servicing.
  8. Hey guys, I have just spoken to Ashbhp this morning regarding his supra and some of the parts he has for sale, really nice guy might I add and very helpful. When speaking to him he recommended I come and speak to some of you guys who have personally used his garage and know him well and your experience so far? Just trying to get a better understanding that is all, as I wish to hopefully take my supra to garage786 soon. Regards Ashley
  9. I could make you guys a high detailed model of a Supra in 3DS Max 2015 if you like? Ive been doing 3D design for 5 years now and especially love designing cars. You can view my showreel here if you like: https://vimeo.com/119852446
  10. Do you think it's worthwhile? And do you happen to know the cost of an engine swap and what ecu would be required?
  11. Hi guys, Just wanted to know whether or not the HKS 3.1 engine could be used in a standard TT supra 6 speed with stage 1 clutch? Would it work with the standard twin turbo setup? Or would I need to drastically change anything in order to fit it? Mainly asking as I was considering the swap, but need to know the ins and outs. Also what would a decent standard TT engine fetch money wise? Regards Ash
  12. Ohhh shots fired. How about I give you my w58 conversion and I will take the v160
  13. Are you selling that v160 kit and diff by any chance?
  14. Cheers guys, forgot to mention that mine is a Twin turbo engine GTE, not sure if that makes any difference? Would my slave need changing if I already have this setup? Also can you guys tell me where I can get the following parts: Lines Slave Suitable diff with casing Diff drive shafts I know I can get a full 6 speed with gear selector and linkage. I can also get propshaft, clutch, flywheel and gearbox mount from Whifbitz.
  15. Hey guys, I currently own a 93 Supra MK4 Supra with 5 speed w58 gearbox and stage 3 + clutch. I plan to swap to a 6 speed gearbox setup very soon, but just wondered in order to do so, what parts will I need to achieve this? I don't believe I will need the pedal setup, is that correct? And I'm guessing a stage 1 clutch for the 6 speed Is in order? Any insight is appreciated Regards Ash
  16. Massive fan of the Fast and Furious films. Would my supra be worthy?
  17. Ok thanks Chris for all your help. I have sent my garage an email in regards to it.
  18. If was only fitted in November is it worth getting them to fully check it prior to driving it home? Should they take it apart again if it is doing this only in a small amount of time from when it was fitted?
  19. Sorry I'm not sure what you meant by the pushrod length and free play? I mean if I hold down re clutch pedal for a few seconds it does then engage from neutral to first smoothly. Is this something that can be rectified? Would it have been to do with the clutch not being setup properly to start with? Regards Ash
  20. Hey guys, My Toyota Supra is a TT with 5 speed W58 gearbox and I had a new clutch fitted back in November last year. A Spec stage 3 + clutch. Seems to be a good clutch. I was careful the first 2 months or so, driving on it. I have boosted on the odd occasion, but only ever for a few seconds on the motorway doing around max 80mph. Nothing Major. I did notice the other day after driving a bit, On the odd occasion when I was sat at lights and went to neutral and took my foot off the clutch and then went to quickly press down the clutch to engage the gear stick to first it wouldn't go. I had to wait about two seconds after pushing the clutch pedal down for it to then engage. When I did push the clutch down it did sound as if something was quickly slowing down, like a spinning mechanism to match, before I enraged to first. This happens sometimes. I did have my garage take a look at it,who fitted the clutch and said that the noise was normal for it to then slow down and engage to first and said it could have slight clutch drag. Is this normal and is it something that can easily be adjusted? Any advice is appreciated as always Regards Ash
  21. Hi guys, just a quick one for peace of mind. I have a 5 speed twin turbo supra with stage 3 + clutch. My supra usually idles at 800-900rpm's. However I have noticed that on the rare occasion, when driving slowly onto my drive way and giving it a few small revs, nothing above 800 to 1000rpms, to get onto the drive, that when stationbary the car then starts to idel at 1000rpm or ever so slightly above. Then when I give the car a small rev, the idle drops to 800rpm to 900rpm. I think this has been present since owning the car, just never notice it that much as the car drives and accellerates perfectly. Clutch is brand new since December. I think its almost like the gas pedal gets ever so slightly stuck. Is this a common thing to happen? and is it a case of something that I should even be concerend about if it happens very rarely? Im guessing maybe that the throttle cable is possibly in need of lubrication perhaps? As i doubt its anything to do with a brand new clucth which I havent driven on that much. Im going for a service next week so could always have my garage check over your advised areas. Any help as always is most appreciated? Regards Ashley
  22. The images taken at the scene shows both cars before the traffic lights where she reversed into me. My car for example is to far back for me to have even hit her at the lights as like you said I would have pushed her over the line. Also one of the images taken shows the fiber glass on the floor from the area of impact, which also indicates that she hit me further back down the road. Otherwise those pieces of fiber glass would be apparent further up the road at the traffic lights. Just to let you guys know I have just had a walk up the road where the incident happened, as I live there and have discovered that the Travel lodge hotel has a camera on the side of the building that points to the road where the crash happened I have just been into the hotel and explained the situation and the guy there will get his manager to contact me back. hopefully I will be able to see some footage from January the 9th. Now invested in a go pro 3 with looping mode for the car, so that I have evidence in the future
  23. Yeah I do. There is no damage to her rear bumper whatsoever. I dont see how they can still dispute this. There is so much evidence I have sent over. The fibre glass placement on the road. The texts she sent me asking to pay for the damages and then stating it was 50/50. And now she has yet again changed the story from 50/50 to its all my fault and I hit her. It just does not add up. If I went and asked the local hotel outside the traffic lights or the guy that lives in the house next to the traffic lights, could I still use them as a witness,If they saw anything that day?
  24. A quick update on this. Had a guy come out from Tescos insurance today to inspect the damages done to my car and he seemed like a nice chap. Did a quick inspection and saw where the bumper had been cracked and the denting to the intercooler and asked if any other damage was apparent, to which it wasnt. He asked if I could purchase the bumper seperate or was it a whole kit. I told him I did intially purchase as a whole kit which cost around £1000, to which he replies "I can imagine". But I did tell him that you can buy the parts seperate. After that he said he would hand the report over to his insurance (Tesco) and they should then be able to sort me out from there. Once the inspection was complete, I rang my insurance adrian flux to let them know the inspection was completed. They then informed me that they would now wait to hear back regarding the report from Tescos. They did also ask if Tesco thought the bumper was repairable, to which I mentioned that it would be uneconomical to do so as the cracks in the bumper may start appearing again. They then let me know that the claim was still in dispute with the other party and said that they would talk to Tescos in regards to the pay out and whether it was repairable. I guess the ball is now moving, but I for one certainly do not want the bumper repaired as its not guranteed. Plus it would most likely cost more if my bodyshop had to then repair, prep, spray and fit it back on. May as well just get a new one and start over. What are your guys views on this?
