  1. I see where your coming from buddy in regards to quality. By no means am I trying to just purchase any old alloy and stick it on the Supra. Im just seeing what options are available to me. With this new car, I am trying to get it to the same standard as my Nissan Silvia S15, which I have spent the last 3 years modifying with the best parts available The Enkei alloys I linked seem to be quite good and the offsets are -15mm for the fronts & + 0.5mm for the rears, which I do believe would sit quite nicely on a widebody kit. The only thing I am slightly worried about now is the brake clearance? Are spacers genrally required on certain wheels to better fot bigger brakes? Regards Ash
  2. Guys I have found some awsome wheels from JapDyno. Plus I can get the Enkei ABC wheels for £700 on there website and the Genesis VIP's for £800. You said I needed some really wide wheels, so here they are http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/ENKEI-ABC-18-11-5J-13J-Alloy-Wheels-rims-5x114-VIP-S13-S14-R32-Celsior-LS400-RX7-/390793430372?pt=UK_CarParts_Acc_Wheels_tyres_Trims_Car_Rims_ET&hash=item5afd1a8564 http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/GENESIS-VIP-Deep-dish-Alloy-Wheels-18x12J-13J-5x114-Celsior-NSX-RX7-300ZX-S14-/390784685466?pt=UK_CarParts_Acc_Wheels_tyres_Trims_Car_Rims_ET&hash=item5afc95159a
  3. Lol, very funny guys To be fair though, those tyres are not particulary great, looks like its been in a smash up. Most likely will go with some big wide Rota or WORK alloys in the end. Got Work alloys at the moment on my Nissan and they are great. By the way, whilst im here, can someone tell me what alloys these are on my recently purchased Supra. Someone said they were a Lexus make? Also, are they any good? Cheers guys for all your advise so far
  4. Hey guys, Sorry to bother you again guys, but I came across these Rota GTR alloys earlier on today on ebay and wondered whether they might be worth looking into? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=351031085094 They are 10J fronts with tyres and 11J Rears with tyres, with an offset of ET30 Let me know your thoughts. Regards Ash
  5. Lol rotas seem quite popular on the s15 owners club. But then again i think each club has there own preference depending on the car. For me rotas are easier to get hold of and wont set me back to much. I need to spread my money to restore the rest of the supra as well. It needs big brakes and discs and pads. Wire loom sorted in engine, internal electronics fixed. Undersealing, tyres, alloys, body kit, full service and so on.
  6. Ok sounds good guys, cheers for all your advice. The only reason i was looking at alloys now is that the current tyres on my supra are pretty worn and i think it would need new ones asap before i drive it to the body shop come June time. I didn't want to purchase new tyres all around for my current alloys and then have to pay out again if you see what i mean. But it would be useful nearer the time to test fit some as suggested. Work alloys are nice, i run a set on my s15, but i kinda like the gtr d's as well
  7. Need to find out the exact measurements buddy, but had a look at another gt300 supra yesterday and it was running 10j with spacers.
  8. Will let you all know once the kit is fitted Also found out that you can get away with 10j width alloys with this kit using 25mm spacers. Which is what i will most likely do. However driftworks sell rota gtr d 12j width as well.
  9. You guys may have seen me driving around Bracknell as i work at the peel centre. I currently drive a silver Nissan silvia s15 with big rear wing, carbon fibre bonnet, black alloys and a very loud tomei titanium exhaust lol. Feel free to say hi if you ever see me up there
  10. I haven't purchased the kit yet, as the supra wont be ready for body work untill end of may/june. Plus I've got to sell my Nissan silvia s15 I sourced the gt300 kit from this website. http://www.meduza.co.uk/toyota-supra-top-secret-style-bodykit-jza80/ It costs £1600.
  11. Hi guys, Just purchased a new Toyota Supra, which is currently being restored. I am looking to put a a Gt300 bodykit on the car, but need to know what sort of alloys and tyres would sit right with this particular kit? Therefore would you guys kindly be able to give an idea of the wheel PCD, the offset, width and so fourth and the tyres that would go along with this? Im currently looking at some rota's with either 9 or 9.5 width, possibly with et25, would these stick out too far? Any advise would be greatly appreciated. Thanks again. Regards Ash
  12. Cool guys, its nice to know there are a few of us in the local area. Once my Supra is restored and up and running in June, we may have to all meet up in Bracknell somewhere Oh and yeah, thats an RX7 in the background, its mine also, just in the process of a rebuild...............only joking lol. That RX7 belongs to Jez's mate and Jez is currently helping him to rebuild it as a project. The car itself is amazing. Everything is brand new and the engine is fully rebuilt and I believe forged parts as well.
  13. Hey buddy, I would love to keep both, but due to the cost of running two cars, the S15 will go up for sale around summer time, if all goes well with the supra. She's been well looked after, with a service every 6 months, oil/filter change etc. Restored her over the last 3 years with lots of high end modifications such as a brand new Tomei expreme ti exhaust system costing over £1000. So I will be sad to see her go when the time comes. I just hope she goes to a good home. The new supra should come out really nice when its finished. Gonna have some of it resprayed and purchase a Top Secret GT300 bodykit to go on it as well as a carbon fibre bonnet Regards Ash
  14. Hey guys, My names Ash and I have recently joined your car club. I posted a few weeks back in regards to Toyota Supras and what to look for, you guys were really helpful. I am currently an owner of a Nissan Silvia S15 Spec S and a member of the S15 Owners Club, so Ive been into imports for a while now. I am now also the proud new owner of a white 2jz 1994 Toyota Supra Manual. It needs quite a bit of work done, so is currently down with Jez at Horsham Developments, who will undertake the work. I paid £4000 for the car and it came with an uprated stage 3 clutch W58 5 speed manual gear box, aftermarket stainless steel exhaust, clean interior and engine bay and bodywork. However, the engine was transfered from the owners previous supra to this new shell, as his previous supra suffered a crash. No damage to the engine from what I could see, but it definetely needs the wiring loom sorted out and the internal electronics currently do not work. He mentioned he was a member on here as well. His name was Mark Cartwright, if anyone know him or his car? Other things that will be on the to do list, will be new bigger brakes + discs all around and undersealing.
  15. Cheers mate. Will pay for a year I have heard of jm imports and visited there website, looks good. Been in touch with harlow-jap-autos, who also specialize in imports and they seem like a good company. Just been in touch with the guy selling the white supra on ebay and he says the previous owner was on this car club, any ideas?
  16. Will most likely do that once i get paid again next week mate. Is the £10 just for a year buddy?
  17. Hey Guys, Nice to meet you all. My names Ash and I have always loved import cars, especially Nissan silvias, skylines and Supras. I currently own a Nissan Silvia S15 Spec S, which I have restored and modified over the last 3 years and am currently an active member on S15 owners club and SXOC. However I am now looking to go for a Toyota Supra, preferably a twin turbo and need your help finding a decent example around the £6000 to £10000 price range. Colours I would be most interested in would be white, red and possibly silver. White would be my first choice though! I have been to view a toyota supra recently, which was priced at £11000 and was mint condition, however when I got there it wouldnt start and the garage told me it was because the car had been uprated to 500bhp therefore running to sweet and causing startup problems? (I thought this was a load of rubbish) It was this one here: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1993-Toyota-Supra-3dr-Single-Turbo-Conversion-/281131879407?pt=Automobiles_UK&hash=item4174c40bef With that now seen and done, I have had my eye on another white one on ebay, which seemed good condition for its age. I was just a little worried as its a private ad and I havnt seen it on past posts yet on this club, plus I normally would go to a garage. But if you guys could give me your opinion of this car, then that would be great: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1997-Toyota-Supra-Twin-Turbo-RZ-6speed-Manual-Factory-Veilside-Low-Mileage-/251445635991?pt=Automobiles_UK&hash=item3a8b53eb97 Any help on this would be appreciated! Regards Ash
