  1. 5w is a bit thin. You should ideally be looking at, at least 10w or even 15w for an engine putting out decent power. I think i have 10w 50 in my own car. But i ran 15w 50 in my 200sx.
  2. Emmm ok though if the engine has run the wrong oil to the point where its started knocking it might be too late!
  3. Check the whifbitz pulleys. As far as i know it is possible to mount them back to front and they will not sit square and could cause the knock if they are off balance
  4. and do you know isit coming from the top or bottom of the engine?
  5. are your pulleys etc all on squarely?
  6. Knock Knock is usually engine rebuild time!
  7. Also do you find you need archwork etc to get the 12s to fit?
  8. Would you sell those Shawn?
  9. Unfortunately Dnk ive been left with no other option as i have pm'd the mods on various occassions and the reply was that they were waiting on a response from Ric, now two weeks on and Ric has been online and active on the forum and i am still left unable to use the forum
  10. Mods, Can I please get an update on this? I think I've been more than patient with waiting on responses from yourselves and Ric. This has now been ongoing for more than 2 weeks and we are no further on! Thanks Niall
  11. Just set it on fire and it will burn out, dont neccessarily need oxy, even a tin of lynx and a lighter will be fine, just get it going and it will do the rest itself once its on fire
  12. New throttle control ecu is usually the fix for this
  13. Clear your inbox ripped_fear cant reply as it is full
  14. And any facelifts that do have a bonnet vent has either been added at some point or it was a happy accident in the factory as they are not supposed to have them but I know my last facelift had one from the factory. Think in the mix up years toyota made a few randoms
  15. I have a full rear subframe and arms and front upper arms for sale
  16. I polybushed my rear subframe mounts and put super flex supplement fixings on the front mounts
  17. I have such a thing for sale just now having done the very same project myself
  18. you'd be better building up the worn areas with weld and grinding it back rather than permanently locking your alignment. im sure it is designed to have some give in it while driving
  19. Did mine with johnsons metal paint after a bit of wire brushing. Did the back plate silver with allow wheel paint
