  1. .....does this mean you WON'T be opening a 'keep all your old Tea Bags for me' thread then?
  2. A dog, failing that...a much bigger, harder cat! or this... http://www.cat-repellant.info/html/renardine.htm
  3. I cant say what I'm thinking, it contains banned words and references, but I think you get the gist of it....
  4. It can be repaired no problem, but, with 5 visible cracks (inc the repairs) and possibility of more that aren't immediately obvious, I wouldn't risk using it even after welding etc. I used to buy/repair/refurbish and sell alloy wheels as my own business. I have binned wheels that were in better condition due to not being willing to take the risk of having a comeback or, worst case, a death on my conscience.
  5. Hahaha, I dunno, I have a little vest top I could wear to keep warm!! Well, I'm a member too so that 6 people we could get in, means we can always get stuck into coffee and hotdogs in the cafe in there. Judging by todays weather, I dont think we can rule anything out to be honest!
  6. The dads bein a Richard Kranium about it, give the 3 yr old her dog back and get your new (me me me) partner a different dog. I reckon its a case of the new partner thumbing her nose at the 'little Princess' and just wanting the pup out of spite. I say he takes control of the situation and puts his new b*tch in her place!!!!
  7. If it snows, do we have a backup plan? Round to McD's drive through maybe? How many of us have Costco membership??
  8. I reckon that even with a support bar on the front from the PS pump to that bottom bolt on the block that it'll still flex. I might make 2 identical support bars and put one front and rear, just to try and help combat any twisting or flex that might occur.
  9. I know mine needs replacing, the actual flange that mounts to the exhaust has a crack in it and gasses are escaping via it.
  10. If only crowd control had been properly addressed then the Group B may have still been around. Some savage cars were built for the series though, and sitting on top of your fuel tanks in the Lancias must have been bum clenchingly scary at the best of times.
  11. Hahaha...I knew as I posted it that it was only a matter of the right guy coming along....hahaha
  12. Dad buys daughter a rabbit, daughter still gets to see dog on weekends and rabbit distracts her through the week. Job jobbed. Then, daughter develops allergic reaction to rabbit.....etc
  13. Stands to reason, teh PS pump was part supported by the aircon pump, would be best to keep some kind of support there, these things are engineered in for a reason I guess.
  14. Are yours the ones on Ebay mate (150790452463)? I need one too, but my NA also has 2 in the actual manifold as well, one each half.
  15. Proper RR is the only way to go....Sport is for wannabes. You know this because there's no-one builds a bespoke gun-cabinet for a Sport! haha
  16. How many miles have the mounts done mate? I might be interested if they were to be listed in the For Sale section.
  17. I dont know if he was a trade seller or not, I may have snaffled a private seller with one then.
  18. I removed all of my aircon and haven't made a support bar as yet. It seems quite secure but better safe than sorry, I'll be making a support bracket before I drive the car anywhere. The belt type required is 6pk1865, this translates to 6 grooves and 1865cm long. I think its a standard fit on some Mercedes. I found a Dayco one on Ebay for £12.
  19. What he said, I have plastic ones on the saab (fitted with Team Dynamics Diablos) and I took the wheels of last weekend to clean the backs of the wheels and do the brakes etc and 2 of the plastic spigots have cracked. Thats after being fitted for 3 years, but aluminium ones wont degrade at all though.
  20. They are likely to be a 73.1mm CB, requiring spigot rings to adapt. Most aftermarket wheels are like this, allowing a universal fitment.
  21. Oh, ok.....I'll make one up tommorow then, better safe than sorry is they key! Cheers for that mate...
  22. Nice looking wheels. It's a design/manufacturer I'd consider.
  23. I did the aircon delete today, I removed the rad, the pipework and the compressor. I used the 6pk1865 belt and all is ok. I didnt see where I might need to make an additional barcket though, as it seems very secure with all of the mountings that I used reinstated. I knocked the spacers out of the mount holes in the aircon compressor flange and reused them where they would have been with the compressor in situ and this seem to have done the trick. can anyone advise me any further? My tensioner has no damper fitted to it. Cheers.
