  1. Supras suit tall people, at 6'5" with 35" inside leg I have plenty of legroom and the drivers seat is really low when you adjust the base down and tilt the backrest back a touch. No rear seat legroom behind the driver when you've done this though. Not even for a child.
  2. Anytime is a good time to own your own house mate, I regret all the rent I payed the 7 years I was a tenant, £25.000 down the drain!
  3. are these still available??
  4. I dont think anything other than engine oil would need cooling, even on the track. Would you be able to fit a filter mount sandwich plate and run the engine oil from that through the cooler?
  5. If everything on the car is in an as new condition then it should be fine. But that tiny extra bit of pressure in the system puts that little bit extra strain on things eg radiator pipes, the gaskets, the headers on the rad etc etc. It also raises the boiling point of the water as well, which can be advantageous, but not on a car with a mild tune on it.
  6. stock N/A rad cap is 1.1. I'm waiting for one coming as well, but since removing the air-con rad and all the debris that was between that and the radiator the car has been behaving itself anyway.
  7. I have a perfect one here that I removed from my car for no other reason than I didnt want it on there. I was going to strip it down in order to reuse the front section of it as a support barcket for my Power steering pump. I'd take your old one and £30 for mine. you get a working compressor and I still have the bracket that I need.
  8. plz dnt txt spk......thx lol (hides)
  9. I like your car mate, looks lovely, it did look sleeker without the stickers though. Just a suggestion and possibly only to my taste, but how about having your mods list along the bottom of the car in fairly short letters, say about 30 or 40mm high lettering and with almost no gaps between the manufactures names? This would create more of an accentuating stripe but stll let people know what sort of parts are on the car? Just a thought, love that diffuser...
  10. Such a worthwhile trip. Feeling rough on ferry's is one of my worst things ever.
  11. What with my intake sensors and Bobskis Points, we're building a new hybrid, we'll let you know how we get on!!
  12. Sounds to me like he's going to reverse into a wall and file a claim against you. Just my take on it, but I've been on the wrong end of this kind of carry on before. I did the same thing, rolled into the back bumper bar of a Pajero. There was no damage whatsoever to the jeep and I cracked my front grille. I gave him my name and reg and next thing my insurance company sent me a letter telling me there had been a claim against me to the tune of £1200 and that a further claim was pending. I rang the insurance company and they told me that there were 4 whiplash claims being put in and I told them I explicitly remembered that there was only the driver in the vehicle. I haven't heard anymore about it. Apart from losing my no claims.
  13. Tom likes being in charge....don't ya big fella?? I'd love to attend, but cant confirm whether I'll be able to so I won't put myself on the list. I can always m ake my own way down though. Might even be able to persuade Aaron to come with me!
  14. We have a Samsung that plays music when its doing the washing and you barely even know its running. Direct drive I believe.
  15. mine has a temp sensor on the intake and isn't there a sensor inside the TB?
  16. I did a p100 pick-up with aerosols. I used satin black and it came out pretty good. It cost me around £70 inc all the primer, paint and other materials. I kept the truck for around 6 months and it weathered really well too. I had to touch one or 2 areas in when some one decided to scratch it, but it was a case of rubbing the scratch down a bit and then simply repainting the panel, on my driveway. It was awesome that truck, a proper Mad Max job with staggered 15" chrome wheels and Mickey Thompson rears, a big Hilux tripple 3" rear roll bar with a wide recovery lightbar and full Sierra 4x4 interior and front end etc. It was only a 1.8 TD and wouldn't scrape the skin off a rice pudding, but the looks it used to get was unreal....haha
  17. I wonder what the rear light surrounds would look like if they were flocked......
  18. The oil has coated your intake sensors, preventing them from taking any readings. Cars with mafs etc hate the wet filter systems. I have only ever run them dry to combat this issue. Try unplugging the sensors while the car is running to see which makes most difference and clean it off.
  19. No bother mate, when do you wanna come get em? I could drop em off if you stick a tenner in the Audi like.
  20. J-spec cloth front seats. Passenger seat has immaculate covers, no holes or wear whatsoever...drivers seat has excellent motors etc, make a good drivers seat out of the 2. I have taken the rear inbourd 2 bolt mounts off each seat for my Leather seats to fit them but if you do what I suggest above then you can simply swap the runner over from your original seat when you go to fit your spanking new rebuilt seat! Collection only from Durham area please. You have until next Saturday morning/lunchtime and then they go to the tip.
  21. I really like these cars, only thig that stopped me ever getting one was the iffy residuals on them. I guess they have just about hit rock bottom now so are an excellent bargain buy.
  22. Haha, LHD too. I'm 6'5" and have loadsa room in my Supra. One of the few sportscars I feel comfortable in.
