  1. lol.....I had thought of a few things I could have said....but thought better of it. That Supra looks nice, but, I wonder what he/she did with their aftermarket steering wheel? Surely that would have been done as a matter of course considering all the other mods done. I would be wondering what other things have been taken off prior to advertising it.
  2. I think I'd probably be quite good at that...
  3. How would you stand if you posted a link to an item for sale on Ebay??
  4. Do they follow the same shape as well?
  5. I like how the Supra looks without any kits fitted at all. I esp like them with the rear hoop removed, but that hoop is what makes them, many tried to copy it. Veilside looks too OTT now, when they were 'all the rage' I guess they were different but, in my opinion, they really date a car. Max Power kind of killed them off.
  6. I wonder if Jurgen would be able to get the setup in Japan, postage from Australia is ridiculous, whereas Jurgen might be willing to bring it over in an imported car, for a nominal fee of course.
  7. Ok, cheers. I'll make sure I know the pitfalls before I start it
  8. I'm running 235/40/17 tyres on 8.5" fronts and 255/45/17 tyres on 9.5" rears. Nice sharp turn in and not jarring etc over bumps and humps. Hope this is of use to you...
  9. I found the car to be far more responsive today. I also did the blowing exhaust gasket just after 1st cat....found that the 1st cat still has its honeycomb in it so will be looking for a 1st cat decat pipe....2nd cat has been brayed out so is empty anyway and can stay where it is. Next job is aircon delete with me new shorter belt.
  10. So....would a TT inlet go on and then fit a supercharger in place of the aircon pump?
  11. I haven't been anywhere in it yet...I was waiting for the chemical metal to set on the small pipe I had to drill and fit, steel to alli so wont weld, also waiting for the small filter to turn up for the CCV on the rocker cover and I'll take it round the block. Taxing her for the summer this weekend and taking the Allroad off the road til winter time comes around again. David P, I just looked at your pics.....that WAS your engine bay...til you supercharged her. I was wanting to do that, but I underestimated the amount of graft required. I just dont think I'm going to satsisfy my need for power without turbos or some form of forced induction etc.
  12. Is that your engine bay David?? Cheers Swampy, that is what I suspected. Noise is our friend....esp induction roar....haha
  13. All that power and 4wd, if he doesn't have the clutch and transmission to match then he's toast. At least you can spin your excess power off.
  14. I hate car electrics. Maybe because I lack understanding of them though.
  15. There are 2 big boxes that are sort of hanging under the intake pipes but are plumbed in....they are just empty boxes. They seem to serve no real purpose at all!
  16. Cheers David....yeah...I might get a T piece and send both rocker cover vents to one small filter.
  17. Traction etc relies on the speed sensor to operate...unplugging the convertor without actually making the wiring loom as it was b4 the convertor was fitted might have left the speed sensor out of the loop somehow? But then I might be wrong, just my take on things.
  18. I was messing about with the intake on my car today. I noticed how it has 2 huge baffles incorporated into it. Are these simply for noise reduction? I have hardpiped the whole intake and have fitted a cone filter with heat shield in behind the headlight and it doesnt seem to be excessively loud or anything. I incorporated the intake temp sensor and the very small air intake that goes around the front of the engine but not sure where to send the CCV outlet as I dont want to vent all this oily air/vapour into my plenum. Is this where you would fit an oil catch tank or should I just vent to air with a filter fitted? Any advice welcome and appreciated. Thanks
  19. Would £50 delivered be an acceptable offer for the Eibach springs?
  20. Non turbo gearbox and diff are geared to help an NA car accelerate faster. This means you need to change gear more often and more efficiently to get similar 0-60 times as a factory TT....I think anyway.
  21. Yeah. I'm used to 4wd so can be entertaining at times...haha
  22. Wow.....thats a terrible way to 'upgrade' a car. Nippon seems more cowboy outfit than a ten gallon hat and a pair of leather chaps. Seeing Hodge sorting Simons car out almost puts me in mind of a certain American TV show...where the 'marks' car gets the full Overhaulin' treatment. Hodge Foose in the house?
