  1. Cheers Guys. The car was running hot all day so pulled timing, but I still managed a 10.8. But I only mananaged to get a 1.78 or somehing 60 ft. Good fun n all but the track could have been prepped better IMO:) Blew a plug in ther afternoon... which was a little worrying as the caramic came away around the tip!!! I met loads of decent folk to day. Its not often you get that all in one place. I'm looking forward to seeing all the pics and vids later:)
  2. The day started very, very early indeed... and ended like this. [see pics] Thanks for a great day. Sorry I missed the presentation as my head was stuck under the bonnet, wrestling with a rogue sparkplug. Thanks to Mr Wheatley and son for all their help today:) It was good to see some familiar faces as well. Best 60ft and best 1/4 mile:d:)
  3. I think I'm going to travel up the a21 onto the M25 and hope to meet up on route. I'll aim for 7.15ish onto the 25.

  5. I'm selling a pair of monoblocks. Marantz 125 watts rms into 8ohms each thx certified excellent condition hardly used £50 each
  6. Thats a real shame:( I was really looking forward to seeing it fly 3.4 stroker kit ????
  7. I'm going to thrash the pants off my car and see if I can beat my personal best. ...and hope the car makes it back home by its own steam! 1.6 bar here we come!
  8. I think the extra oxygen in the mix makes the whole thing run a lot lot leaner (hennce the extra fuel needed)so an aftermarket map/ ecu is required. Also cold starts will be fun! The only e85 pump in the south east is in Crowborough, between Tunbridge wells and Lewes . IOf your in the east around cambridge or the far south west you'll be fine as there seems a good number of pumps.
  9. ....and a ban on all red small single turbo supras:p
  10. Theve been on my Kahn rsr's with 9,5 inch rims. No probs with overlap. Ive now got 275's r888s and they look wider!
  11. 285 35 18 Michelin pilot sx's with 3-4mm tread, no punctures/repairs. they cost stupid money when new. Ive removed these to put on some r888s but they're still road legal. I believe these are zr 150+mph £60 for the pair. Would make a good track tyre. Ive no Idea what postage would be. I,m in kent and will deliver in a 20 mile radius.
  12. How about a monaro, a vxr model? Or a 350z
  13. I'm not doing the RAF Marham so I can do this. This event will be very special so Ive made my choice. Come on folks don't leave it until its too late...
  14. I believe there was a thread about 6 pot endless brakes where Paul Whiffin mentioned a big weight saving over stock on each side. The endless calipers are a lot lighter than UK spec ones. Also lighter wheels will help with your unsprung weight. Moving the battery to the back is a good idea, as long as you keep it a low as possible. But youll need a sealed/dry battery. Also the washer bottle when full is 3 ltrs or more = 3 kgs+ so moving it to the back will improve weight distribution. The rear spoiler can go as well s the rear wiper and motor. If your car is UK spec then removing the trac pump and related hoses will save 3 more kgs and free up space under the bonnet A titanium exhaust system with no cats will save a lot of weight. If you havn't already got a strut brace then I wouldnt bother unless your only tracking it . If you remove the aircon you might regret it on those hot summer days.....
  15. After 5 or so years of ownership finally getting round to changing the boot rubbers.
  16. Sorry to hear homer. I'm going to have to pull out too. Not car related though! Cash related!!
  17. Just a quick note. Im down As Robert Mckoen and **not given** under Forum name . Would it be possible to update the speadsheet with 'Robbie' included?
  18. You make it sound so so tempting...
  19. Robbie

  20. Its just that in comparison to a new £300 core 2 setup its hard to justify...
  21. Thanks for the offer....Tempting but it becomes too much with the price of a new battery.
