    HKS 264's

Whats the cheapest I can get a set of 264 hks cams for:)
  2. What do I need to do exactly by the end of this week?
  3. Good stuff. Cheers Alex.
  4. Hmm! thanks. What are the tolerances/clearances by the way?
  5. Ok I'm up for this. I spoke to Gaz At pod on sunday and he's convinced me to come. All I need now is a place to stay the night before, some cams for my other engine, a quick tune and something that reads and writes to .xls files so I can enter!
  6. Would I need to re-shim the head...all 24 if I fit HKS 264 cams or will the be OK? (This is on a standard JDM engine) The reason I'm asking is the cost involved for a reshim would make putting in 264's too expensive.
  7. Anybody see the almost crash while we we in convoy by the 4x4 and the blue skyline on the outside lane.. what a twat. Otherwise apart from the lack of track action it was a good excuse to chat....got my drag tyres on at one point only to be thwarted by the rain:Pling: oh well. Looking forward to the vid
  8. I agree with rich here on both his posts. Thin steel wire works fine to secure the ends. Do the downpipe too.
  9. :)From your other post it seems you'll be taking the engine out...in which case it wont be difficult.
  10. I'm convinced the way to is buy an old engine, race it until/if it breaks and then replace it with another.
  11. Looks like my fan coupling is too lose so I'm after another. Help please:)
  12. Gary @ GT-Art set my afr and boost controller up on his rolling road. He's Near Lewes, just off the A27 01273 675775. You say you want it checking. Is there something wrong or thats bothering you about the way its setup?
  13. I changed it last year, but for 4 years it was standard UK spec. My coments still apply
  14. I own both.... Much as like my s13 as its nice and narrow (good for B Roads i t can in no way match the cornering ability of my supra
  15. If the base of the floor under the laminate is wooden then stone plinths could help, even with the spikes. Mine are on spikes on the slabs of slate. The bass is tighter and more defined, not louder. also if your speakers are ported then a bung can help. If you have some sponge place it in the port and it will slow down the air movement and reduce the bass effect from the cabinet.
  16. I found adding a good stone plinth to each speaker base transformed the bass when I had wooden floors in the house. I used 60mm slate. All in all a cheap way to upgrade my speakers that had lost the edge when I moved house!
  17. I'll make sure I'm ready this time:) . I'm In 1. Miami 2. Ashbhp 3. Gazboy 4. MK47 5. Robbie
  18. If your a developer or even planning on doing a fast turn around on a property then an interest only motgage could be a good plan. as the payments would be smaller while you develop the property= more proffit at the end. If you rent property then the interest you pay on the loan is tax deductible = all the mortgage with interest only and only part with a repayment.
  19. Thats what I did with mine. The battery and a washer bottle from a capri sits between the rear seat and the rear cross member. I figured that was the optimum place for balance and doesnt affect the spare tyre. Try this as well . http://www.carbuildersolutions.co.uk/washer_kit_bag.htm
  20. 501 rwhp at 7000 rpms 470ftlbs tq I think at 1.35 bar. maximun Tq was around 6500 optimax with conservative timing. Mustang Dyno
  21. The crank, flex plate, rods, piston etc were all balanced together. The OEM cranks are strong enough for the power I make!
