  1. Nice man, George's old car? Look forward to seeing how you get on with it? Does it still have the stock auto?
  2. Heard good things about Whiteline, there products are well priced. Apparently the adjustable antiroll bars are good so will probably give them a shot later down the line.
  3. Thanks Mike, slow and steady as the saying goes. I haven't got unlimited funds unfortunately. So I'm just buying parts as and when I can. I'd like a set of wheels and lower the car but that will have to wait I'm afraid. Can't wait to get the exhaust fitted though!
  4. I've been spending abit of money recently on a few items for the GT86, first being the Cobra 2.5" Resonated catback exhaust which arrived yesterday. Hope to get this fitted tomorrow morning. Shout out to Abbey Motorsport for the good service and quick delivery. Next up is more of a "cosmetic" item that I know won't make much difference to the handling but it was shiny and my finger slipped on the "confirm and buy" button It's a Whiteline front strut brace which should look nice under the bonnet. And last but not least is an item I've heard good things about from other GT86 owners with it fitted. A Beatrush brake master cylinder stopper which improves brake pedal feel and has been proven to work. So for £40 I though why the heck not! Again I will be fitting this over the weekend That's all for now folks!
  5. Don't do it! A good friend of mine crashed his supra due to Blueprint UK spec discs which overheated and didn't stop the car. Don't cut corners on brakes, it's just not worth the risk!
  6. As I've mentioned previously, I'll be taking my Toyota GT86 and happy to callout all N/A supra's. Should be a close battle! Looking forward to this
  7. Evening all, Little update, managed to pick up a second hand Cobra 2.5" Catback exhaust from Mark at Abbey Motorsport. Hopefully should be arriving with me tomorrow so looking to get that fitted over the weekend also purchased a Whiteline front strut brace which again should arrive tomorrow. Although strut braces don't add much difference to the handling I liked the look of it because it's shiny and it was well priced so I snapped it up
  8. Good news mate, see you tonight and tomorrow then! I'll be sick of the sight of you by the end of the weekend
  9. Yes bud still the usual spot, but security have clamped down on "car meets" so they can sometimes cause us greif. We normally go for food about 8pm, and get back to the cars around 9:30pm for a chit chat
  10. I'm planning to be there in the GT, although Beccys grandad is really unwell so may not be there. It's 50/50!
  11. OEM, Chris Wilson, Porterfield, Ferodo. There are many options out there, my advice would be is to go with something that has been tried and tested. UK spec brakes with a decent pad is more than adequate for a road car
  12. That's a steal at that price! I thought this had sold.
  13. £18000-£23000 is a realistic budget for a single turbo auto depending on spec. If I was you Nicky I'd just hold fire on purchasing a supra. Take your time and gather some more funds to find your perfect car.
  14. We have this with the Mercedes Sprinter ambulances, the crews leave them running for lengthy periods of time in the ambulance car parks and over time it clogs up the DPF and throws an EML light on the dash. We then get called out to carry out an on site DPF regeneration and tell them to not leave the vehicle running when not being used. They never listen though!
  15. Who's going this Friday? I'll be going on my own.
  16. You have a single turbo setup don't you on a stock auto? If you do the box could be on its way out. Check the colour of the fluid.
