  1. Ok so it doesn't have the Recaro seats, they must have been an optional extra and it's hard to tell from the picture if it has the bigger brakes. But taking nothing away from the car it looks a clean example.
  2. £10000 - £12000 I'd say. Is it defiantly an RZ-S? If it is it should have bigger brakes, recaro seats, and possibly an LSD. Although I think the LSD was standard on the 6 speeds and an optional extra on the auto models.
  3. Sorry mate, I did read that but just wanted to confirm as I do enjoy a nice swim! Might take my mankini And pack it in, she gets enough out of me as it is! Maybe she can treat me for a change...
  4. Ahhhh great! I'll be skint by the end of the weekend because Beccy will be all over that!
  5. That's didn't last long Mike?
  6. I'm not planning to guys, I'm normally there with dad every year but he's away that weekend anyway. I'd be up for Japshow Finale later on in the year though.
  7. But it's Ebay, I'd say 90% of them are time wasters. It will be re-advertised soon due to "time wasters".
  8. When's she coming out to play mate? Haven't seen you or the car for ages!
  9. Buzzing for this! I'm calling out all N/A supra's to race my GT86!
  10. This weekend just gone I had my car serviced at my local Toyota dealership, it was due it's 40,000 mile service which is the "big one" so to speak. This means replacing the spark plugs which for any mechanical minded person out there will know it's a pain in the back side being its a flat four boxer engine. A full service is £600 purely for the amount of labour to lift the engine of the mounts to change the spark plugs. I didn't pay full price mind you as my mate works at my local Toyota dealership as the sales manager so I get mates rates Whilst the car was in having a service I had a couple of things checked which was bugging me. First thing being a slight wind noise above 70mph from the drivers door seal, I noticed there was a small gap by the window allowing road noise and water through. Luckily this is a common problem and will be getting replaced under warranty. Also the mechanic found that my O/S/R wheel bearing was noisy, can't say I noticed it when driving, but again being replaced under warranty. Thank god for Toyota's 5 year warranty... But all in all still love the car to pieces and have many plans for it in my head so be sure to stay tuned to this thread to find out more...
  11. Afternoon all, Just a little update, since I've had the car I've been wanting to spend an afternoon cleaning the car up as I don't think the previous owner took much care of the car, there are various stone chips on the front bumper, tar spots on the lower side skirts etc. So I decided to spend a couple of hours cleaning the car whilst we had some nice weather. First the car was cleaned, then polished using Poorboy's Polish, and waxed to seal it. Unfortunately I didn't take any pictures during the progress, will do that next time! Although happy with how the car came out. Removed the bulk of the tar spots with Poorboy's bug&tar remover and managed to remove a few light marks around the car with T-cut for white cars. I do plan on clay baring the whole car when I get the time, Although the front bumper would benefit from a respray as the paint is very thin according to other GT86 owners which I will get a quote from my work bodyshop. But being a pearl colour I cant imagine it will be cheap!
  12. About time the thread was up to date Zach! This car is savage, watching it squat on the motorway on dragonball and just F off up the road was comical! It really is a quick quick car indeed! Lee and the team have build you an absolute gem, defiantly one of my favourite cars! Wouldn't mind a spin one day....just saying
  13. How hard was it to pull the seals back straight mate? What did you use to do it?
  14. Wow mate! Proper job looks brilliant so far, will be a brand new car! About to you got down to Bluewater again to show her off
  15. F I don't mind what I'm paying, for me it's more about socialising with people I don't get to see very often. As you have said before its more about the people than the cars. Catching up with old friends and making new ones, also about making more memories! I'll always attened when I can! I'm sure a lot of hard work goes into these events and I'm sure I speak on behalf of everyone that we appreciate everyone behind the scenes who make these events happen. I look forward to sharing a beer with you at Wroxall
