  1. Likes nice now, hope the spoiler doesn't ruin it though.
  2. I think nearly every NA has ABS. What about adding Nitrous to that list?
  3. I sometimes think should I sell my NA and get a TT? But its pros and cons really. If you have a nice NA that you know is reliable then its harder still, especially if its an Aerotop. The performance might not be as good on a NA but the number of blown turbos and turbos problems does help put me off a bit. Saying that I've never been in a TT so don't know how much faster it really is. Plus trying to explain to the girlfriend I've spent a couple of thousand extra for the same car that goes a bit faster might not make me very popular
  4. Nice MR2 you have there, cant imagine that being too difficult to sell.
  5. Nothing to do with me but thought someone might be interested. 1993 TOYOTA SUPRA Hatchback 3.0 Turbo 3dr Auto (1993) Rare Twin Turbo AeroTop Dark Grey Metallic. Full spec inc Leather, CD, AC, Alloys, Elec seat adj, Active front spoiler & remote locking. 7 mths MOT & Tax.V Good condition. Reluctant sale. 84000 miles. £7500.
  6. Its not the vin number. I cant remember exactly but I think its next to the vin on the plate under the bonnet. Something like ALMSF for example.
  7. Only way to be sure what it is, is by the model number on the car. Get that and you will know for sure.
  8. If you have an insurance policy which covers you to drive other cars it only covers you if they are not yours and not a hire car.
  9. This has happened recently on this site how strange! I think you would still have had insurance though.
  10. That doesn't really make much sense to me. Don't forget what ever has happened to it in Japan would not be recorded in the UK so if its a fresh import its pretty useless.
  11. Don't know sorry, but I like the silver one! I think its standard with the number plate relocated and the lip painted which really changes the look.
  12. I got mine done a halfords too or in fact its the AA service centre on the side of Halfords. I was going to buy the oil myself but it would have cost more than getting them to do it. I bought the genuine Toyota oil filter and got them to do the change which cost £30 for Mobil 1. Will get it done every 3000 or 6 months which in my case is a bit less than 3000 miles. Seems like a good price to me and any garage can do an oil change. I mentioned I was going to change my fuel filter soon too they said its a shame you haven't got one as they would have done that whilst it was up there for an extra £5! The guy even knew Dudes Supra its that famous around here!
  13. Cant say I know much about turbos and I'm totally lost when start talking about saf-c and ITC but either way it looks good to me! Seems like your getting it all done in record time too, very impressive.
  14. PM me your e-mail address and I'll send you the proper one. I really must get it hosted.
  15. Looks ok but like Paul said get UK in there as some people add that to the search.
  16. That must have been a real shock to the system! Lucky she didn't take a few other cars with her, but at least she's alright that's the main thing. I don't agree that you may not of been as lucky in the Supra, its a strong car, much stronger than a fiesta. Glad the emergency services where good, but seem like a bit of an overkill to have 7 police cars, 3 fire engines and 3 ambulances for a one car one person incident. Maybe this is fate for you and her?
  17. That level looks ok but sadly not related to your air con. That probably just needs a re gas.
  18. I'll correct that for you: Had a B service done at Toyota today, but they said that they couldn't change the fuel filter because they couldn't be bothered or they forgot they didn't have any in stock and hence decided to make up some rubbish to tell you. Next they will be saying the oil filter is different on imports and hence are unable to do an oil change or will have to charge you extra for it. Crazy!
  19. I'm pretty sure the decat pipe for the TT and NA are different and not interchangeable unfortunately.
  20. I've used it and not had any problems with it. I use Nelsons Gold at the moment and although I prefer the gold, there really isn't much in it. Mer is a bit harder and time consuming to remove with more dust perhaps but give it a go and see what you think.
  21. I've done a search but couldn't find the correct size. My import has a huge UK style number plate on the back and its so big I wanted to change it for a jap square type. I ordered a square plate (4x4 motorbike) style and its much too small and leaves huge gaps on each side so I cant use it. Does anyone know the correct measurements to quote from the handbook or something for get a plate that fits perfectly in the rear bumper hole. I'm afraid if I measure it I'll measure to wrong point and it wont fit or something equally annoying! Thanks
  22. Bit extreme for an April's fools. Toyota would probably admit they haven't got a clue about the Supra. Cant imagine its anything to do with MKV. Don't think we will be able to guess but it would be interesting to know.
  23. Only thing I can think of is people saying the main dealers are clueless about Supra's. Very surprised Toyota would have a problem otherwise.
  24. Those are chavs/ townies that drive max power cars and wear lots of gold jewellery and Burberry hats etc in that link. Pikeys are different they steal new transits / Toyota landcrusiers and Shoguns and new caravans then go to a field in a group of 20. Leave more rubbish than believable all over the place terrorise the locals then move on.
  25. By the way I wouldn't be surprised if this was true but it wasn't an April's fools joke was it?
