  1. The 4.9 is for the manual and the 5.1 for the auto. Even 6.5 for the NA isn't slow! How many cars like the BMW 330, Clio 3ltr V6 etc etc have similar 0-60 times as the NA but I don't hear people saying they are slow.
  2. £130 for an oil change! Kwik-fit do a mobile one oil change and filter for £34 I know its kwit-fit and I don't know if they are any good, but for comparison purposes its essentially the same job, labour wise etc. http://www.kwik-fit.com/
  3. Is there a separate wiring terminal that connects to the battery's positive that hasn't been reconnected?
  4. The standard main bulbs work out about £8 each from Halfords. So they are probably about half that at the local car outlet then.
  5. How did you manage to get a 10% discount Rahul did you just say your trade, usually works.
  6. Posted at the same time, with basically the same answer!
  7. I would have thought £260 would have been for both the glass headlights. If you give the part numbers for the shell rather than the assembly then as far I can tell you get the exact same thing without the bulbs which Toyota charge about £45 for each side for! I think that's a lot for bulbs especially if your fitting PIAA bulbs (whatever they are) like Rahul says. Shell: LH - 81170-1B210 RH - 81130-1B210 Assembly: LH - 81150-1B210 RH - 81110-1B210
  8. Sounds good. I came down to your garage yesterday and got an MOT done on the Celica which thankfully passed. Not going to Billing unfortunately.
  9. Dude is in Newhaven, East Sussex and obviously good at his job you can tell that from his own car. Else if you want someone a bit closer to you, then you could try total motor care in Sandwich, Kent if that's any closer to you? More details on their web site: http://www.totalmotorcare.co.uk Adrian
  10. Supra_Al not sure how much the face lights rear lights are in the UK but they are £90 for the two in America. Just to give a rough idea.
  11. How much were they from Toyota Terminator, and what year Corolla did you say?
  12. This may make it look harder than it really is but could be worth a look? Adrian
  13. A few more pictures from Bolney, tried not to repeat any of the pictures shown by Gandolf. http://www.imagestation.com/album/?id=4290280487 Adrian
  14. To my knowledge there is no reason why you cant fit a UK bonnet to a JAP import and visa versa etc. A new bonnet costs about £500 from Toyota as they are aluminium. But you should be able to pick one up second hand for much less.
