  1. There are a lot of really low life idiots about sadly. If I see a nice car I don’t think that’s nice I want to damage it, it just doesn’t make sense to the normal mind.
  2. People don’t go down the build a house route because it’s so much harder than walking into a finished house, plus at least in my area there really aren’t many plots of land around, they have all been taken already. Also to my knowledge you can’t get a mortgage on essentially nothing to use to pay for the land and builders so you need £100K or what ever it costs floating around. Then there’s the hassle of dealing with, local authorities, builders, suppliers, plumbers, electricians, carpet fitters, kitchen fitters etc you get the idea. Plus being able to project manage something like this whilst working full time makes it even harder. It’s a brilliant investment and a great idea in theory but it takes a lot to go ahead with something this big without knowing if your even going to like the house at the end of it.
  3. These things happen unfortunately, very lucky the insurers are acting quickly there normal trick is to drag everything out as long as possible.
  4. Isnt low on screen wash is it?
  5. I'm going to be different here and say I dont really like it! When the bonnets down it will just look the same as a normal widebody car, and the rear panels being that wide just looks silly all IMO of course! That said amazing bit of work.
  6. £4500 for a paint job! Where's the faint smily.
  7. Have you got any better pictures of those wheels, maybe on the car?
  8. Could come in very handy for a few people.
  9. I can’t zoom in that much! My areas not covered either. Considering the distance that lens is amazing!
  10. I wonder if the next times someone on this site posts about doing highly excessive speeds (which they do) if we'll threaten to burn them at the stake, call them dangerous and wish punishment on them?
  11. Mines doing this too sometimes, if you just leave it then it never seems to work but going back to the channels then back to the guide can solve the problem.
  12. I always forward any fraud attempts to ebay so should they stop counting there money and decide to try and help people from getting scammed they have an idea of whats happening. I've never seen one of these message though.
  13. That looks good I'm a big fan of the stock (ish) look, bits of £500 plastic stuck all over the car really arent my thing though. I like those wheels too!
  14. That sounds good, I dont really have the need to ever text landlines but might try mine just to hear it!
  15. What’s wrong with it or are you just pre-empting the fact its getting old now and things are likely to start going wrong. How about option 5 just sell it and drive your 2005 landcrusier!
  16. Sounds like you’ve had a bad time with Max GT and that’s what forums are about to ensure others don’t get stung in the same way. It would be good if Paul came onto the site and gave his side of the story but if he’s going to treat one customer this like what’s to say he wont treat every customer poorly. Hope you get your car sorted soon and well done for sharing this.
  17. In that case say it got lost in the post!

    Bmw M5

For a car that you dont need to do a single mod too thats really impressive! Shame about the price.
  19. Don’t forget with all the property programs that are on TV that most of them are a few years out of date and therefore the prices are very deceptive! We would love to get some property to rent but if it’s a buy to let you normally need about 30% deposit sometimes more for the best rates! In addition it’s not easy to get unless you could prove you could pay the mortgage long term if it was unoccupied. Personally I doubt you’ll make much from the market rising wherever you buy however you’ll obviously make in the long term with some one paying off your mortgage for you!

  21. If its not raining/snowing then I should be there.
  22. £8k should get you a very nice car, it might just take a bit of time to find the right one.
  23. Oh dear! I like this from a land rover mechanic: he simply said dont bother, "it will blow up, guarenteed"..He told me he and his collegues are deluded with Freelander work on a weekly basis, changing engines or head gaskets, apparentley this car went out to Joe Public with 15 known design faults...Absoloutley scandalous, so from a guy in the know unless you buy a TD4, walk away...His advice to me was buy a Honda CRV,
