1. Thanks! didn't think I'd enjoy building it this much.
2. I think this one is the same http://www.wonderlandmodels.com/products/tamiya-124-toyota-supra/ The parts are cheap but I think they make money on all the different paints you need.
3. If you don't know what is in it now, then I suggest exchanging it completely. Here is a link on all kinds of stuff. http://mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?56684-FAQ-Oil-Fluid-Interval-Capacity-Steering-Brake-Coolant-Diff-Engine
4. Hi all, The other day I got this 1:24 model of the mkiv Supra. And now I know why you can call this a hobby. It takes pretty long to build! Check out my progress through the pics below.
5. Yup, it was.. here are some of my pictures! https://www.dropbox.com/sh/kg8bfiqg835vcy3/dCI-LBs1r-
6. Weather forecast for the weekend looks fine. I'll try to give some updates throughout the week. Right now they're saying 15-18 degrees C on the Saturday with no rain. But who knows what they'll say by Thursday.
7. I might need a new door control module as mine is unlocking properly but not locking both doors anymore... What are you asking for it? I am living across the channel though. Don't know if thats a problem with shipping...
8. Don't think it looks half bad there
9. They didn't stop me yet.... The benefit of living in the Netherlands is that Germany is just an hour away. Keeps me from gunning it at home. Did have a go on the Autobahn last week. The flow of most Germans is already 115 mph, so long journeys do shorten significantly.
10. German Autobahn madness It was great fun!
11. I say time for an update on this thread Took this on a trip to Germany this week.
12. Did my first lap Nordschleife today. man it's good fun. Although I was very slow because I don't know the track. Also passed this Porsche GT3RS that crashed it very bad.
13. My jspec TT is also a B03B with a V160 (6MT)
14. Recently I fitted new speakers in the doors, and this coin showed up inside the door opener handle. It must have been glad it got a new voice. Thought it was a nice find. Also found a small kids toy under the seat earlier. What did you find in your car when you bought it?
15. Also check this link about a new law in France about gps devices warning you for speed camera's!! €1500 MAX fine!! http://gpsunderground.com/forum/current-2011/13690-new-french-law.html

17. I'll check the adjustment, but it's still strange its doing the same thing with the new parts. About the oil seal. If that's the cause then wouldn't it be more of a juttering slip?
18. Since the fall of last year I’ve been having some intermittent problems with the clutch on my Supra(only owned it since august). While driving on the highway I notice the clutch slips when I’m really putting my foot down. The slipping starts about when the second turbo starts helping the first , and only noticeable at 5th and 6th gear. So it’s unable to hold its grip at max torque. The weird thing is when I drive the car for a longer journey, at some point the problem goes away. After around 40 miles I can totally gun it and it will hold the power beautifully. The thing is I’ve already had the clutch plate and pressure plate (or whatever it’s called in English) replaced with new ones. It’s a stage 1 clutch which should hold even more torque than the OEM right? But the issue still exists with this new plate (even that it goes away during a longer journey) so I need some advice on what to try next. Hope someone recognizes this and knows what’s wrong.
19. Looks amazing. I wish I lived near the Alps, and that my office would be on the other side of the san bernardino pass
20. Don't know, but I'm still stuck with a jspec 180km/h speedo... So I would like one that goes to at least 300 Will read up on the conversion that needs to be done first. "searching forum now"
21. Maybe you can check the voltage it's producing while the engine is running. Should be around 14 V I think, for it to charge the battery.
