  1. Hi guys, need to collect a Parcel from Ireland and alot of places are either stupid expensive or will only collect from N.Ireland. I've posted a request for delivery on Shiply.com with not much success. Any advice would be great, thanks
  2. This new valve train system basically replaces cam shafts and poppet valves and brings a new design to internal combustion engines. Due to better weight distribution, a lorry engine with >5k rpm was able to rev to 14k rpm and was able to increase the compression ratio without problem of knock. Hope not a repost, search the forum's few times for this and couldn't find anything. http://www.coatesengine.com/
  3. Every one loves Jake's mint NA Maybe he should get the Minted NA of the year award now mitchell is running a TT?
  4. When he has this running it's going to bed nuts. Highest powered stock compression NA running on the forum I expect. Aiming for 14psi aren't you david on stock HG? Gonna be evil... with stock compression so no low comp lag and a charger kicking in low, this thing is gonna be nuts. Are you going to be doing ride's at Pod David?
  5. I wasn't expecting to like that as much as I do! Fair play, bonnet definitely looks the part!
  6. But you took your time and made it your own. Its not about the biggest or fastest car mate, or who can hide the most wires, its about spending time on your hobbie and enjoying it with your mates AND making new ones! The events are really what make it worth while for me. Everyones so welcoming, Japfest was friggin awesome, I might go SupraPod this year as theres so many funny people Id love to meet them in real life Your car WILL be show standard mate, its alreay mint as it is!
  7. Thats alot for a bonnet mate. But you can't put a price on custom as Im sure you know. Will be worth it when it's all fitted I'm sure. You fitting the wheels on at the same time?
  8. Wheels look ace mate. Your car is gonna be show standard by the time your finished!
  9. Bad news! Will you try and re machine the pulley or make a new one?
  10. could you not just hold it with a guy either side?
  11. Welcome. Nearly time for supra meets you joined just in the nick of time
  12. Brom have you ever seen clear ones? I am pre-facelift and wasn't aware you could get them. Change your title to - facelift bumper lights - you may get more help.
  13. Sounds like cheap wire getting too hot and the wires shorting out. Once the wire shorts, the current just flows and generates too much heat and starts to ignite the plastic which turn's into the most horrid smoke and smell and generally nastyness in the air. Had this once before many years ago when I also had neon's and LED's. I never got anymore in memory of the amazingly awesome glow that I once had would never be replaced with new colour glows. Cheap wire that is too thin for the job! Clearly the wire was on it's last legs.
  14. Less than a minute to face it off, I didnt say less than a minute to set up, carry it into the work shop, clamp it up, clean it off, debur it, 316 would take less than a minute to face off once its set up. It will take more than that by hand, that was my meaning.
  15. Try and find someone with a machine shop are ask them to face it off (if you know anyone in that industry). Without having something to guide you, you could actually just make it worst. Would be EASY job on a mill just to go across it. Less than a 1minute job with the right equipment. Otherwise Id ask the guy you bought it from to get it sorted and your take it back or you want a refund.
  16. Looks mint that set up Dan, but unless your going for serious power I think most cheaper component will do the job. Though, it does look bloody tasty.
  17. No idea. I'll wrap the items up later tonight, get some weight/dimensions and get back to you after I get an easy online quote from the post office if you like. I have to send some bits to a kind man called Mr David P and some other bits so I can do it tomorrow if you want. Either way, I'll wrap it and quote you later tonight. Is that ok?
  18. Aftermarket items. The lot cost me well over double the price just want to reclaim some of it back.
  19. Nope, non turbo I'm afraid.
  20. Unless it's a nice bran new one I'd definitely go with a v8 one then
  21. Bought these for someone as a present, now not needed. All bran new and never used. Fuel Filter, Air Filter, Oil Filter, Spark Plugs Looking for £15 + P&P
  22. I'd recommend using a different throttle body Jamie. They are cheap enough, and will look so much cleaner, with all this effort you at least want it it looking as nice as possible, as if you use the mk3 ICV idea like brendan said you don't need to do much modification. Get a nice Q45!
  23. I always understood the NA head to not be as free flowing at the TT head, therefore being different flow rates adding to the number of limitations for the NA when under boost?
