  2. may be interested after xmas dude. need to sort my clutch first though
  3. my clutch is on the way out and need a new one!!!! a used one from a break would be fine for now until i can gather the money to easily get a stage 2 (thats whats in it now) or a stage two now for the right kind of price. any help appreciated *edit - its a 5 spd by the way, also looking for a 6spd box at some point in the future
  4. no drove to bude, did the photos then left to go on the piss lol the paint is custom. its the colour of the interior of the old aston db5's. so as far as i know, it was never used for the outside of a car
  5. Saw noz in bideford tonite. Can confirm his na-t is loud as f###!
  6. Cant wait to have a look tonight. Guessing u are the same noz thats goin to the charity event in bideford/bude tonight
  7. all done!!! il get pics up soon as i can. my camera makes the pics too 'big' for the site, so il use my phone tomorrow and upload them
  8. turns out it was a dodgy connection inside the stereo. personally i think 2 and a half hrs is plenty of effort, i tried everything i/or anyone else could think of, but couldnt find it. luckily joel down the road managed to sort me out. now everythings working! happy days. cheers for the input peeps
  9. got a N/A manual i need rid of. pretty much stripped out inside, just front seats left really as was going to be a track project, but could do with more space in the new year to work on my TT. looking for £1500 as it is, as mechanically its sound, just needs interior, or to be finished for track
  10. right thats it. given up. off to the audio store i go!!!
  11. I checked both fuses going into the back of the stereo and they are fine too.
  12. ok, just checked EVERY fuse in the car, and all are fine. now out of ideas! HELP!!!!
  13. happy days. same place as my old celica! what a muppet. can tell ive not been awake long lol cheers
  14. are you on about the standard latch, or aerocatches/bonnet pins? i have aero catches on mine that the guy who owned it before put in, but he put them above the lights, and i have the same problem. bonnet very slightly raised at the front. im thinking of getting more aerocatches and putting them between the lights, as that should solve my problem. other than that, not sure really. hope this may help
  15. not my fortay, and i have no power going to my stereo all of a sudden. was working fine yesterday, and all ive done is put a switch into the rem cable for the boot install. havnt touched any actual stereo wires. sooooo, is there a fuse for the stereo and where would i find it? this seems the most logical cause of the problem to me
  16. spent all day in the garage building my new boot install. got half of it done, but need to rip the carpet off it and re do it. not happy with the joins on it! Tomorrow doing the same again, hopefully will be finished pm tomorrow. pics to follow once i bluetooth them to the missus so i can get them on the laptop, have been taking pics at key points of the build, just for interest purposes.
  17. yes we do. If everyone posts a few dates/days and times that they can do then we can work something out. Im off work until after christmas now so im good any time/day
  18. sounds good to me if we cant get a bristol meet started. been talking to the guys around me and most seem up for it. ive seen theres one at cardiff. any further east than that or is that my closest one do you reckon?
  19. not so much a regret now, but future regret more than likely, buying my new TT 5spd, for £7300, everything is mint on it, few bits and bobs that i want to do to it, but thats just me being picky. However, will probably regret not forking out for a TT6 in the future, when i end up spending the money to have it converted to a 6 spd box.
  20. well i can do pretty much any evening in the week either this week coming or next. if people throw some dates out there we can see what would work out best for everyone
  21. ;)did you make it lie flat or angled with the boot sides? i was thinking of doing two triangular pieces, meeting low in the middle, with a sub and speaker on each side, and the amp slotting in the middle somehow. or having it follow the boot edge, from the top of the seats, angled down toward the back of the car. thinking about it, three pieces may be easier as i said, need to wait for the sound makers to turn up before i decide anything solid
  22. im soon to be starting my removable install. this will fill the whole boot, and come in two pieces. (need it removed so i can use the boot when we visit family.....new daily driver hasnt emerged yet) i'll be using 2 x 16.5cm fli speakers (which match the two in the doors), 2 x 10" 900w fli subs, and a 950w fli 4 channel amp. Have the wood, carpet, and perspex, just waiting on the noise to turn up before i start so i can work out where everything is going to go. Will upgrade the wood to fibre glass when i have the money lying around. Will keep evryone posted once i start the install build. Also, any ideas/advice from anyone who has done this kind of thing before, would be well heard.
  23. best time for me would be sunday 19th evening. if that would work for anyone else?
