Right, here it goes.......
I'm planning on retrimming the door cards and the rear speaker surround plastics in red leatherette.
I've found this stuff on ebay for £5 a metre, and plan to use a strong spray adhesive, starting from the centre of the panels, and gradually stretching and sticking as I go towards the edges.
This idea looks really good in my head, and I think it will transform the interior beautifully, and make it that little bit different, and unique.
If it all goes well, may look at doing the dash as well, but we'll see.
If anyone has attempted anything like this before, any pointers would be greatly appreciated, as this is the first time I have tried something like this, but have high expectations that I will be able to handle it and that it will turn out nicely.
I aim to have this (door cards and rear panels) completed by the time JapFest comes around, so the results will be there for all to see (providing it goes well)
