  1. I live in Birmingham mate so if you're going there i doubt it will be much of a detour at all
  2. Haha, cheers mate, i tell you what, if you can be bothered to drive all the way from Belgium then i'll do it for free The full brembo kit came in at around £2k delivered for front and rear, unbelievable value really. Brand new front calipers + Hawk HPS pads + braided lines, only very slightly used rear calipers with new pads, brand new Lexus IS-F discs all round and includes all bolts and custom fabricated mounts although i did get some deals as i was the first international customer, and got lucky on prices, it would cost more if you wanted to import it all now. The guy i dealt with has been fantastic and saved me hundreds if not thousands of pounds. He runs the Brembo SRT-8 group on Facebook, located in USA, his name is Jacob Innabnit, really helpful and honest guy. Highly recommended. https://www.facebook.com/groups/Brembos.SRT8.Conversions/ (I am in no way affiliated with them btw, just thought his customer service was top notch) Cheers Chris, that's nice of you, i try my best
  3. Thanks mate Cheers Sunny, got the rears fitted now Haven't got much time for a full update at the minute but i managed to get the rears fitted the other day and they look great i've had some metal trimmed from the front ones to allow for easier fitting, i painted them up this morning and they are now ready to install i just hope they clear my wheels they are huuugggeeeee!! Rears all done: I'll get a proper update done when i have some more time, having a manic week and weekend to come isn't going to be any better haha
  4. Cant believe it was this car!! Ive read this build thread loads of times, i loved this car! Forgot he went back to standard front end. Masterpiece.
  5. Fucccckkkkkk, tyre coming off at 215mph would be shit your pants scary! Thats a real shame, ive never seen that car before but it looks jaw droppingly beautiful! A lot of time went into that.
  6. Ill go if a few people go, i used to go to this show every year. Havent been for a while now.
  7. Great taste Jason, you picked 3 of my favourites there
  8. Correct me if i'm wrong but i really don't think 269 cams will help either, they will be pushing the power further up the rev range. I haven't actually heard of 269 cams before tbh, i thought it was 256 then 264 and 272 but i guess i must be wrong.
  9. I have, it was a complete no brainer for me. Best quote with normal insurer £1250 with £1000 excess. Classic car policy £300, £50 excess.
  10. What a boring shit fight mayweather got it easy.
  11. I've already realised i hate going shopping unless its online for car parts so if she asks me i just no thanks, you have fun tho babe
  12. What the hell! Haha no way! Where do ou live then i gotta come see this beast? Lol Pm me if u want.
  13. Stunning mate i cant believe i live a few minutes from your business and ive never seen this car!!
  14. Haven't done all that much to the car this week, i thought i'd be able to fit my new brakes this weekend but they are still in bloody Florida Delivery taking ages. But i have done a little bit of work Today and last night so here it is......... Although i polished my headlights a few months back and it made a huge difference i still wasn't 100% happy so i decided to remove the drivers one and do a full refurb on it. Started by removing the light..... And as most of you know by now that follow this thread i'm a complete clean freak with my car so under the headlight got the treatment Here's a before shot of the light: Popped it in the oven, ruined my fingers it apart and then replaced the inside with another one that i had where the chrome was in much better condition and not flaked at all. I then polished the inside of the light and also the new insert and popped it back in the oven, re-sealed and put some butyl tape on as well to make sure it sealed perfectly. I then gave the the back of the light a good clean and some trim gel and that came up nice Sanded the light down with wet 800 grit, and then 1500 grit and re-fitted to the car: Then machine polished the light to get it as near to perfect as i possibly could, spent quite a bit of time doing this as i really wanted a high shine. So i used Meguiars ultimate compound to start several times, then Plast-Rx, then auto-glym polish then Plast-Rx again and finally 2 coats of wax And i'm suupperrrr happy with it now as it looks basically brand new imo No doubt my passenger light will get the treatment soon too. So if anyone knows where i can get some good chrome finish spray paint that would be excellent!? And also i'm considering fitting a facelift manual speedo cluster to my Tiptronic, as i'd like to use metal monkeys 10k TRD tach, will this simply be a plug and play? Thanks
  15. You've made some nice changes Sir, especially from the back, looks brilliant from the rear now.
