  1. I've been informed roughly 600 ft/lbs if a few select tweaks are done
  2. You got some talent mate very nice work! Love the speaker adapters too! If i hadnt fitted my ebay ones a few months back i would have snapped a set up for sure!
  3. Cheers Al, ill have a check of that mate, although the pedal feel seems to be consistent throughout the rev range. Yeah i've got decent pads so cant be that, brembo at the back and Hawk HPS at the front. Thanks for the suggestions.
  4. Haha thank you mate Yeah i don't blame you, when i saw how much cheaper they were going to be than buying brembos in the UK and also probably even cheaper than K-Sports and stuff or at least similar i just had to go for them
  5. Thank you guys Awesome, cheers Matt, looking forward to fitting that! Haha, well, i think i paid a great price for these and i know the guy that does the kits pretty well now. Let me know if you want me to get you a quote from him.
  6. Hey guys another quick update, just to let you all know I've finally got the brakes fitted, front and rear Had a few problems and had to shave some material off the back of the caliper to clear the lower arm but all is well now. They are fitted and working well I do have a bit of a problem with pedal feel but i now just think it's because there is still air somewhere in the system even after bleeding twice. I've got a few tips from some helpful members on here so i'll give that a go this weekend while i'm fitting some other nice parts to be revealed a bit further down this post So here's some pics of the front brakes all done..... And a quick comparison with the UK ones so you can see just how HUGE these brakes are Apart from the brakes I've been busy spending all my hard earned cash on multiple other car related purchases I JUST CAN'T HELP MYSELF!!!! 4" Titanium Boost Logic exhaust i bought from Axle after many months of searching (obviously taking a prime spot in the dining room much to the girlfriends amusement) And after reading many truly excellent reviews from the SupraForums and others on Aragosta coilovers i decided to take a stab at buying JackyBois used and knocking ones: When they arrived: I then sent them off to AST suspension who actually make the Aragosta units and send them over to Japan for a full rebuild including all new seals and also new pistons to make sure they don't leak again! When i got them back i stripped the springs off, had them shot blasted and powder coated and i collected them this morning looking fresh as F.... Really happy with the finish and also pleased that i effectively have a £2k suspension set for about £650 and internally they are basically brand new Now they are all ready to be installed Saturday morning along with a full brake bleed.
  7. Right okay, well the pistons on the front are 40mm each and obviously there are 6 of them at the rear they are 32 & 28mm. I'm not sure what the standard UK spec ones are but the pad size in the these on both front and rear is considerably larger. And thanks for the comment about the master cylinder, i presume it isn't that then. That is correct Sir. Okay cool thank you mate, i'll give that a go then before i bleed the whole system again on Saturday morning.
  8. Yeah ill try another bleed mate this weekend to see if it coukd be that thanks. Yeah Nason i read dandans thread but to be honest it doesnt really make sense to me how these brakes couldnt be considerably better than the Uk spec setup i had, i was on stock discs and stock pads with like 320mm discs and 4 pistons and now im using brand new caliprs with 6 pistons, brand new fast road poads and 360mm discs. These brakes wont be in dandans thread also so j cant check that mate.
  9. Hi guys, i've recently installed brembo 4 pot rear and 6 pot fronts on my 98' tiptronic supra, i used to have the 2 pot rear and 4 pot front setup. I also have braided lines all round, running ate super blue fluid and a brake master cylinder stopper. So my question is: i presumed doing this upgrade would make a huge difference to pedal feel and braking power, and while it has made a difference its no where near as much as i thought it would be. The pedal still feels a bit meh, a little spongey, ive bled the brakes twice. My dad has APs on his Skyline, same sizes all round and that stops waaayyyyy better and has instant bite on the pedal. Could this be a master cylinder problem? Are there master cylinder upgrades for our cars? Or is it more than likely something else?
  10. I love the 32s i have to agree with Jason about the white though Just suits it.
  11. The rings do look great mate i might have a go at a facelift set myself at somepoint and try and some black acrylic like you said as i love the toxic ones but cant afford their hefty price tag. Or if you decide you'd like to give it a go then give me a PM
  12. Wow, thats pretty bad, royal mail should almost certainly reimburse you. Pretty poor on the postmans part. Where abouts in West Mids are u from?
