  1. Do you do them without the SRD logo?
  2. Yep that's the one that will sit above my fmic. Also need the one that goes between the AC rad and water rad and the rubber bit. Know I can pick up the big plate for £40 odd but wanted to see if any members had some they wanted rid of. Prefer to put money in their pockets.
  3. Might also be worth contacting the warranty company direct if it is not underwritten by the dealer. Did you friend buy the car on finance? If so get the finance company involved. I believe your friend may be within their rights to withhold payments until it is rectified, but don't quote me on that.
  4. Edit: SteveL is no longer going to be there! Just to let you know that SteveL will be competing in the Eurosaloons Championship at Oulton Park on Saturday 30th July. Qualifying starts at 9:40 and the race is at 14:35. It would be great to see some friendly faces and have a bit of support. There is some interesting metal in this series with ex btcc cars among the more interesting ones. Hopefully see you there.
  5. Looking for the 2 cooling panels and the rubber strip that goes along the front edge of the bonnet. Have already relocated the expansion tank so obviously need a panel without the cut out for this. Can anyone help?
  6. I hope you have now changed the cup Tyres since I saw you earlier this year! If not must be totally slick by now!
  7. Hi Luc, hope you are well? You could come to Suprapod;-) You know you want to.
  8. Hi Chris, what about one of these instead? Do you need the laptop for any reason? http://cpc.farnell.com/jsp/displayProduct.jsp?sku=IN0599994&CMP=aballbrochure
  9. I have just spent 18 months driving a 93. Only redeeming feature were the seats. Similar to the 300 it has a cheap dashboard. I should think you would struggle to get more than 25mpg from a 2.8turbo too. Running costs on the Saab will be high too. Remember it is based on a modified Vauxhall Cavalier floor plan so not exactly cutting edge dynamics.
  10. Sounds about right. I had some other bits and pieces at the same time so can't be sure.
  11. Mine was more rattly than a rattly thing until I changed them. All gone now. About £20 if I remember correctly?
  12. It will be the boot rubbers. Cheap as chips but can be e real pita to get old nuts out (lol). Paul at Whifbitz keeps them in stock.
  13. We will have to agree to disagree;-)
  14. Have you ever been in one or driven one? Like a big barge with cheap plastic everywhere and the build quality of a 9 year olds airfix kit! They also cost a fortune when they go wrong, and they do! It may be an E class Merc underneath, but it's the E class that killed their reputation! Go for the 330d, plenty of specialists about to look after it and bags of smiles.
  15. Do you have any sort of traction control? Might be lighting up the back wheels?
  16. Looks like it could be a call to Mr Whiffin. Hope you've got deep pockets!
  17. You might be right. Just noticed mine has 8 spokes from the centre and those have 10. Other than that they look identical.
  18. Check my car below. Look the same to me! Bahnsport and Blest on my centre caps. Hope that helps? http://tapatalk.com/mu/5ac636bc-e6fc-69e8.jpg
  19. Suggest you propose a few dates and let us vote on them. If I'm available I will be there.
  20. Great outdoor circuit this. I would have been up for at least 2 15 minute sessions but have to get back up North as it is the dragons (mother in law) birthday on the Sunday. Unless the layout has changed the secret is full throttle down the hill onto the start / finish straight and then keep it pinned until you get to the top of the hill again. Its a bit of a leap of faith at first but try it!
  21. Is it not in the centre console behind / underneath the stereo? I recall someone mentioning it is the gold coloured one. Or I may just be making it all up and have it totally wrong.............. I'm sure someone will tell me if I am!
