  1. Had all my interior done looks very nice. I took all my stuff down to the flock shop in Fareham. I would recommend them the name of the guy is Ron.
  2. Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo, keep it. All that time, effort, money, love in building it just to rip it all apart again, what a waste. Plus the massive headache and hastle of breaking. Atleast enjoy it for a year or two.
  3. Not long now mate:D how much did you manage to get the plugs for? I need some for mine- cheapest ive found so far is £25 per plug.
  4. Chin up mate I know exactly how you feel. It is going to be one awsome supra when finished!
  5. Very good result mate you must be very happy. Now go and enjoy it:)
  6. Wow awsome work Lee:thumbs: Should do a group buy on the alternators ill be needing one for mine.
  7. Awsome mate, thats almost the exact same spec of mine apart from I will use 264 cams not 280, ive got a greddy plenum and q45 tb and my turbo is a billet 6765. Will be keeping an eye on the build mate, lovely supra. Have you not thought about going with a greddy plenum and q45 tb?
  8. Cheers just found the thread type on supra forums. Where did you get the fitting from mate?
  9. I need to order my fitting for my oil feed line to the block but im unsure of the thread type does anyone know what it is and where I can get one with a -4 fitting? I will also need to get a bolt in the same thread type to block off the other oil feed on the block.
  10. You need to run proper sized wheels to make this car a stunner again, 12" rear minimum.
  11. What ecu have you got out of interest?
  12. Good luck with it mate. Big single is what I always wanted to do with it. Getting that bumper in there was a squeeze but we got there in the end lol.
  13. Now that is bad luck! What a pain hope you get it sorted soon mate so you can enjoy your hard work. Not good that it has to come out of your pocket though!
  14. Cheers for the help everyone. Some good info in this thread which will probably help someone else out in the future like myself. I already have a 4 inch back box and metre long pipe so I'm going to go full 4 inch I think as I'm not bothered about the noise I can always fit one of them exhaust valves that jamie has in his gtr exhaust if needs be.
  15. Interesting was that a supra though? I was always going to go 4" catback its just the dp+mp I want to get a better understanding on really what the difference would be between 3" and 4" apart from 4" being louder and sitting closer to the ground. I was under the impression a 3" dp+mp are not a restriction upto around 700hp. But if what Johnny has said is correct that if I went 4" dp+mp I could make the same power at a lower boost setting then its a no brainer.
  16. Ok mate thanks for your input. If that is true then its a no brainer I will go 4 inch all the way.
  17. Cheers Johnny. Also any reason why you think that? Just trying to get a better understanding. I could just go 3" dp+mp then go to 4" for the rest which would be easier and cheaper and would be good for the power I want but as im making it from scratch I think I might as well go 4 inch all the way and be done with it... Anybodys opinions, experiences on this i.e bhp/torque gains, noise etc would help me out:) (Im looking to make as close to 700 bhp as possible). Ive already got a 4" back box and enough 4" pipe to make a catback exhaust. Ive ordered some more 4inch pipe but that can be sent back and changed for 3 inch.
  18. How far away from the turbo should I go from 3" to 4"? does it matter? Cheers
  19. Was just looking at them actually, this seems the best option as I can just order pieces from them. Will give them a call
  20. Just wondering if anyone on here knows of any good places/websites to get 4" stainless steel pipe from and a 4" flexi pipe, 90 degree bend and 45 degree bend to make up a downpipe? Also 4" v bands and clamps. Cheers
  21. Looking good. Its coming along very nicely now mate going to be an awsome supra. Are you going to wrap your manifold or leave it as it is? I think a carbon spark plug cover would look good:)
  22. Remember there are 2 different sizes of veilside arches so I suggest you measure the width of yours and go from there.
  23. Ssome people say wrapping the manifold keeps the heat in but then makes the manifold more prone to cracking. I'm trying to make a decision on what to do with mine think I will leave the manifold as it is and wrap the downpipe.
