  1. Ok mate was there a reason for that? or just your preference? What do you think was best for the car?
  2. Does anyone know the differences? I think I remember reading somewhere the NA ones are thicker but im not sure what sort of difference that would make/if any.
  3. He had uprated ones which got sold..
  4. I need to get a pair of arbs for my build and im looking to find out which are the best and why? NA, TT, UK spec? I will probably go uprated later down the line but for now im just looking for stock ones.
  5. Nice car mate, you are just greedy having two TT6's!
  6. The central bracket that has the 2 spacers/shims- There are about 4 different spacer thicknesses maybe you have the wrong ones for the prop you are using...
  7. This is what I mean for me it makes alot of sense to use the guy I know and go with an aem ecu. Although not as good as a syvecs a lot of people use aem so they cant be that 'rubbish'
  8. The reason I'm tempted to go aem is because when issues come up with the car I can get them sorted asap and road mapping would be available to me asap whereas with a syvecs not so easy etc.
  9. Ok will take a look, would be looking at latest aem ecu, I can also go power fc but I don't think that can run staged fuel pump set up so I would need to change my set up to a single pump and change my fuel lines etc as well most probably.
  10. Hi guys basically I have a decision to make and was hoping for some input/advice:) I was going to go with a syvecs ecu but if I go with an aem ecu I can pretty much get the mapping done for free or very little cost and the guy has tuned/mapped cars for years etc. Also he lives around the corner from me and im very good friends with him so if I was to have any issues with the car I could have them resolved very quickly. Road mapping can be done when ever needed and at no cost as well pretty much (map tweeks etc). So im unsure what to do the guys in the states seem to use aem ecus without issue and I know everyone says how good the syvecs is but even though it is better than the aem with the options I have with using the AEM ecu and being able to do road mapping whenever and with the guy living around the corner from me what would you go for? and why? Thanks in advance Chris
  11. Im looking for an oem clutch disc and flywheel bolts. Mr T want £12 each for the flywheel bolts so just wondering is there somewhere that does them cheaper before I spend £100 ish on 8 bolts:blink:
  12. Im buying my clutch in 2 weeks time and need all of these parts also. Does anyone know the best/cheapest place to buy these from? and how much they cost? Is there a full kit as I also need oem flywheel bolts as well. Cheers
  13. All I have to say is I expect you to win every show you go to Rob, amazing. I think all your hard work will pay off this year at the shows:thumbs: Top work from SRD as well.
  14. So if im thinking right I should not wrap the manifold but wrap the downpipe and get a turbo blanket?
  15. So should I wrap my manifold and downpipe or leave it unwrapped?
  16. looks good mate, I see it made 670hp whats the full spec:)
  17. Ok mate cheers:thumbs: so really the 2.5 is better than having 3 inch if it will build boost faster.
  18. cheers guys I know the 3" dp/mp is fine for 700hp and it is made by power house racing so I know it will be a good exhaust but I'm wondering if I change to 4" will I make more power than I would have and maybe the temps will be lower. Basically if it is going to be a benefit in anyway I would rather change now while I am in the middle of building the car rather than later on.
  19. I have got phr 3" dp/mp and 4 inch cat back i'm looking to make around 700hp I don't think ill have a restriction issue. If I was to change the dp/mp for 4" would it gain anymore power over the 3 inch? If not it will be pointless me changing it as it will just make it louder and give less ground clearance.
  20. Hey guys just looking for a bit of help on this as I am not too clued up on it. My intercooler piping size from the turbo to intercooler is 2.5" will this be ok for a 700hp supra? if not I will need to change it for 3" what difference will it make? The outlet on the turbo is 2.5" and the intercooler 3" I think. Chris
