  1. Just a shame a decent 34 gtr is 25k then you would spend about 10-15k on it your looking at 40k. You can get a 33 gtr v spec with the same spec as the 34 above rb26 built engine, single turbo etc for a pretty good price these days, but then it doesn't look as nice

    Haha you do have a good point though. You could get a supra that a cowboy has put together who then puts SRD badges on it and people may think they have built/worked on the car. I would say a good idea is all the SRD builds, cars etc should have a unique badge/badges to the usual ones, or something along those lines.
  3. If it ends up back on the road. Will know when Lee has looked over it. Depends how much more money needs spending on it, had enough of ploughing money into it now its never ending. Wish I never started it or carried on with it to be honest with you.

  5. Depends on the spec of the engine, like any build mate. Id say rb26 sound better than a 2jz but like Jamie said not as strong and reliable (stock engine).

  7. What would you say is the better car your single supra or the single gtr you had? A lot of people say the 32 is the best of the lot. Ive had a 33 but that was a gtst not gtr.
  8. No mate. This one has the best of everything though if it ever does get finished there wont be a better one out there imo. Think he has spent around 80-90k so far and its not even close to being finished. £120k build id say.
  9. All the way through my build I have been tempted to sell up and get an r34 gtr, I love them. I still might get one depends on if I like how my car drives when its running. Skylines are a lot more money to maintain, parts wise etc. I have a friend who has one and is going for 1200hp- He paid £2k ish just for an uprated oil pump! Hes got a full stroker kit the lot.
  10. Yeh been a year this month, could of had it done sooner but im too anal lol and the budget just went out the window as the build progressed Im sure you will see it at an event soon. Yeh every little bit of motivation helps a lot I found when doing a big build.

  14. Cheers guys. There were plenty of times where I nearly gave up with the build its very easily done but i'm not one to give up on anything I do. I didn't want to regret it and look back thinking 'I wonder what it would of been like if I finished it'
  15. Finished my car off this weekend its off to SRD Monday 4th for a full check over and to make sure everything is spot on and the last little bits finishing. Also needs some wiring and syvecs ecu, sensors and toucan install. I want to get a pair of the srd engine bay boxes as well and have them in gloss black.   16. I got ya. That's not good as mine are all being repainted this week. I don't want to flock mine as the whole interior is flocked so wanted to break it up abit. I would flock them black then not purple, purple would be too much in your face.
