Need help to find out what clutch this is as it needs rebuilt. The clutch was in the car when i got it and the only invoice i have for a clutch is an os giken TS3B. when the clutch was checked we discoverd a great big HKS sign staring at us. is this a HKS GD Pro clutch? The photos not ideal ideal but hope someone can id this for me thanks for any help i get Gary

Ok i'm posting on behalf of a friend on this one so bare with me! He purchased a 1997/98 Supra SZ-R not long ago but with no time to dedicate to the project it's been decided to sell up and try something else! The car is a 97/98 SZ-R 6speed and it's been stripped down for what was going to be his project, basicaly the whole car is there but as it stands the interior has been removed. The shell is straight and true and it has been painted lime green by a previouse owner! The car can be sold as a whole but price will need to be discussed for this. The car is a standard car it has the following. 3.0 ltr N/A engine that runs just fine UK spec front brakes 200mm torsion rear diff interior panels immaculate Many face lift parts. lights etc 6 speed gearbox ( this has no reverse but all forward gears work so needs attention!) The car is located in Germany at the momment (Vilseck Germany) so postage will be arranged per item as discussed with purchaser. Photo's will be supplied very soon and photos of individual parts can be requested for your viewing! Due to there being a whole car being broken here i'll see what you ask for then post a price as i know a price is required for this forum!

I'm trying to find a new toyota supra block for my project build and once again i get on google, lycos etc and all i get is pages of rubbish!! loads of we rebuild trash even toyota's site does'nt seem to be of any help! Every time i try to find what i need on the net i get every page of drivel going and yet i ask anybody else and they go "just google it its the first thing on the page!" I hate the web! i'm getting sick of never getting what you are looking for due to affiliated marketing and general spammers that just state P*SH! I still can't find a block!! closest i can find is a whole short block from the states (PHR)!

Well mr swampy442 to be honest was originaly gonna keep it as a spare incase the 3.4 goes pair shapped but when he heard i'm building another engine he decided that buying a pre build try'd and tested engine would be the simplest way! I can't say its a bad idea coz it gives me money to move my project on. I'm doing this from earnings not from a saving pot so just getting bits as and when sorta thing. i've been getting bits for over two months now and i'm about another two maybe three months to have the engine done so could use this money to get the prop,drive shafts and diff sorted ready! Anybody got suggestions if it would be worth while or should i just stop acting like a child near christmas and wait till it all comes! If i break it i'll give you a shout of course!

this is the next problem!...the price! i want to get money thats worth the hastle of course but at the same time want to be fair,he's also a new member on here so theres club spirit aswell to consider. He's offerd 7000 dollars for the lot! which is reasnable i think but open to comments/suggestions of course.I know some people wonder why dollars but i work on an American base in Germany so dollars get used on post Euro's off post! He's a yank so just always the way everyone works and converts to your own currency! Any ideas??? PS i know you all hate the "how much is it worth?" threads but just wondering what you would do in my situation!..Help!

Ok here goes i have someone wanting to buy my engine as a complete plug and play swap for his NA motor! He wants plug and play for ease so wants everything as in engine (block,pistons,rods,crank,head,cams) the whole whack! now due to plug and play requirements he wants the clutch manifolds in and out, turbo, down pipe included in the everything description is the AEM EMS,RLTC,DLI to run the setup. Would you break it? keep it? flog it as one? Quick spec is HKS 272 cams,adjustable pulleys,1000cc injectors,HKS pistons,new stock rods a while ago, all ARP bolts top and bottom,HKS manifold,GT4088r turbo,4" HKS down pipe,AEM EMS,DLI,RLTC,HKS GD pro clutch,new stock crank damper.Thats all that comes to mind right now but think i missed some stuff! So that theres no confusion i'm building a 3.4 motor on the side but that'll take time so may not even be ready for this summer but don't want to just sell my current engine for the sake of it or be rushed to build the new engine as i want it to be done right! Let the abuse and advise begin!

Think its basicaly been mentioned but people who do not know what a slip road is for! You know they will go down the slip road at 30-40mph then while your stuck behind and running out of merge section they just pootle on the motorway and then try accelarate in there 1.0ltr puddle jumpers! (about 3 miles). You should use the slip roads to help match the speed of the traffic so they don't have to panic coming up on a car doing 35mph when there doing 70mph and then there's less chance of being rear ended at great force!..simple!

I always knew what anti lag was for and thought i'd love to have that! now i have a supra with anti lag and launch control and here's what i learned. It sounds amazing but the one time i used it i sh*t my pants every bang ( and there are lots) i think oh no its broken!!!! it launched harder than i knew a big car could and went like stink through the gears with a huge bang in every gear but i'm always thinkin i'm hurting it!! of course i am in all fairness but love the car to much and i'm the type that if theres a squeek from somewhere i stop and panic thinkin the worst! I'm always concerned about fuel leaks to as the screamer pipe exits by the offside wheel and my car always stinks of fuel!! the swirl pots are inside the car and the fuel isn't leaking outside but when you have it sat for a while and open the door you always pray there's no spark or Boom! The turbo i have is the GT4088r for information not the kind that will take anti lag for long i think!

It was last mapped at TDI whom i believe use a hub dyno. It uses tones of fuel which i put down to the 1000cc injectors but i heard from my mate that the emissions are supposed to be absolutly dreadful! The only problem is the clutch started to give up! I've started to collect parts for my build (whole new engine) which includes a twin plate carbonetic clutch,Due to building a whole new engine i was thinkin of reconditioning my HKS GD pro clutch for the current engine then having the map checked. I'm going to swap to the syvecs system i think though so checking the map is only a check, remapping may be left till the swap!

The supra i have i baught from Jurgen and is already 612hp and although is quick after a mere month of ownership i got bored of it and i'm actualy not that impressed with it's power!.. surprising right! My supra runs a gt4088r turbo so i've been told its actually a quite quick turbo to spool!

when i'm home i use the supra only! go through about 40quid a day in fuel he-he! have a 2001 vectra that i use for the beater and brought it to Germany to save fuel! only the problem is i hate the vectra and i mean HATE!!! miss my astra coupe turbo and only used a little bit more fuel than the vectra 1.8 16v that i have here!

just looked ACL bearings to order some up does it need any special type for the stroker setup?? also noticed there is different sizes so i take it i'll need to wait till i'm actualy having the parts assembled to know which ones i need?
