  1. after chating to someone in an R32, saw he had stencilled his on... mine was looking a little dull, so i decided to give a whirl 1st removed bumper: (quite easy) got some silver matt spray paint, did this to show you the difference... did it all with a light coat: printed out logo on 2 A4 pieces of paper, then glued to some card (cereal box), then used a craft knife to cut the stencil (using a ruler) masked up: sprayed and remove mask/stencil: done PS picked about 100 dead flies out of it with a tweesers too
  2. any luck on this after? if your that stuck i would put an angle grinder to it and just trim it down until it crumbles off
  3. no mate didnt need to roll the arches, i did actually cut the back arches, as i was worried they would, but it wasnt necessary at all as there is still plenty of space. the wheels are great on the front, i personally think they could come out a little further in the rear tho. depends on how much of a perfectionist you are with 'stance' PS yes the car in my garage is the one yea
  4. sorry bud my car is in my garage 10 miles away, im not seing the car til next sat, i just have the Intercooler in my house, will report back next week tho if want
  5. handbrake need adjusting much?? its so far up its nearly facing backwards! lol and PS that engine bay looks like it belongs from a car in the scrappys
  6. ive actually got my Greddy intercooler in the living room here, what part do you want to know from, the pipes at the intercooler itself? or the ones on the hard pipes in the engine bay. iirc when i had my samcos made, i measured them and the size diffferes each end. i.e. the silicone that goes on the throttle is larger than the rubber that goes on the turbo pipe... (i think at least was a while ago, but im sure there was a few mm init) might be able to stetch it over tho
  7. i have 9J on the back with ET25 fit fine, come out to the arch, could do with a bit more tho, i was going to go ET12, but people said it woudnt fit, i wish i did now tho as im sure it would have with a 9J. have some practise learning how offsets work, then you can measure the gap from the wheel to the arch and calculate the offset required
  8. try pulling it up hard, wiggle it, youve done the obvious thing and swore at it have you? lol
  9. as above, try different bulbs and check the connectors arnt corroded
  10. why are there no front badges? ive asked before.. are they the same size as any other toyotas?
  11. id really like to do this, but also have a light there also (as the law) which one of the 3 lights dont you need? its only the larges one which is the main beam is it not?
  12. just vent to atmoss if you care for the enviroment that much jsut dont use the car once, go for a walk so you feel like youve balanced things out jsut press the valve in and it squirts out like a deoderant can (dont breathe it in tho) when you come to remove the front ran there will probably be some left in there so be alert when it makes a loud noise as you seperate tthe hard pipes which go to the aircon rad
  13. ive got the same gauge mate, i had a problem with mine a few weeks ago, the red light was flashing, and the gage was right the way down asif i had terminal oil pressure. (this was an intermitant occurance) it was the wiring to the grey box, take the conenctors out of there, and fiddle them around so they are not twisted. i have my gauges in same location as yours, and there isnt a great amount of room behind there. apart from that, check the wiring to the sensor, and that you havent wired any of the other wires from the grey box to the wrong places PS the fact that the gauge hasnt been used in a while wont matter, i used the same gauge from my 300zx which was off the road for a good while. the gauge should be reading about on number 4kgcm2 when its cold, then when warms up, should be on 1kgcm2, then increase as the revs increase
  14. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Toyota-Supra-DOLUCK-Style-Side-Skirts-LOOK-LOOK-LOOK-REDUCED-CLEAR-/280746931760?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item415dd23630#ht_574wt_932
  15. my OEM skirts need replacing, seen some skirts on ebay, cheap enough £70, are these going to be a nightmare to fit, as in not lign up, scrape the doors, be too long for the car etc etc etc or are skirts the easiest part to manufacture and not a lot to go wrong with?
  16. probably better luck in the wanted section bud
  17. i had squeel on boost when fitted my samco hoses, there was too much of a gap from the intercooler hard pipe to the engine, and the boost just made the samcos sort of inflate like a baloon, just one to check
  18. yes £20 on ebay second hand, with 60 day warranty ive no problem buying one, but dont want to buy one if its not that, could it be the solenoid sticking?
  19. the pic i listed isnt my pic, its an example to show where the caliper was split, the 2 halves, i didnt remove the pistons, or any seals, it split open, for about 5 mins while i retapped the wheel stud, then i put the 2 halves back together again, bolted up tight, stopped leaking instantly, and no fluid leaked, this was at least 2 months ago i did this, and all has been fine, but will be sending off to dude just incase. i didn split, remove all seals and re use them, the caliper was split and put more or less straight back together
  20. got a black 60mm gauge, warning, want white one to match others, anyone wish to trade?
  21. what does the rebuilt kit consist of, new seals, anything else?
  22. yea been checking them now today, nice and in depth http://www.turbosupras.com/pdfs/JZA80%20TSRM/BR.pdf
  23. when spliting them, i wasnt even changing the brakes, i was removing the whole lot to get at the wheel stud, this was done around a month ago, maybe 2 months, was all clean and put back together, bled and then fine. no leaks.. will be carefull not to split again..
  24. BMW E46, starts fine every time, 1 in 10 times you start it though, when it starts (during/after starting) it makes a sound. it still starts fine when it does this sound. the sound is exactly like a garage air gun, when doing up a nut. (the whoop noise, not the gringing noise when its finished doing up all the way) replace the starter? they are only £20 on the net, it wont be a solenoid or similar? thinking of replacing incase these are singes its on its way out....
