1. gave my car a clean & polish, (well the mrs did) never seen it so clean! took some snaps of it next to a GT3 (not mine!) big brakes: happy with how good the supra looks compared to such an expensive car, and so many years newer
2. ive done it mate, take the dash part off (if youve done this before, quite easy) remove the fan, just push out. then you need to take out the fan blades, but keep the outer cirlce, so the gauge sits snug into it PS just smiled at my old posters
3. lol that was the 1st thing i checked mate il let you know what the garage says about it next week, thanks for reading, will post up for future info mid week...
4. yes mate its the rear, thanks for the tips. yea who knows could be something easy/little, think its going to be the bearing though, as handling seems to be a little juddery/crabbing slightly. only drove it 20mph 2 miles today booked in for tuesday so see what the garage advise next week
5. id prefer a personal steeting wheel http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/220848483703?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1558.l2649#ht_500wt_949
6. ok thanks DNK. hope the wheel doesnt fall off or anything stupid when i drive it to the garage :S
7. on ebay now http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/220848483703?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1558.l2649
8. ok. i had the Geo done last year, then a few months after i initially had it done, the 1 side camber went inwards. i returned the car to the garage, they adjusted it again and said it shoudnt have cambered in, unless the bearing has gone. this was a few months ago itself now, the camber looks fine, but ive got this noise. fingers crosed they will leave the camber adjusters alone & get the bearing out easily enough. will report back next week to adivse how skint i am lol meanwhile if anyone has any views on my noise and thinks could be something other than bearing please cheer me up
9. ok thanks for the warning, im taking it to my usual garage who i trust, and are pritty good. will i need to have my Geo re-done again after it? hoping it wont be the wheel bearing gone now :/
10. £70 for the bearing is ok, is changing a bearing on a supra any more complex to changing on any other car? and PS no my wallet isnt ready for a pounding lol
11. thanks mate, any views on my "issue" car is going in garage, but i just like to have a few views on. am thinking its wheel bearing...
12. sounded like i had something stuck to my tyre, then listend further, sounded like a springy squeeky noise, sound changes the faster slower i go, so wheel or brake related. its not a grinding noise you get with low pads. and the sound doesn alter if you brake or not. jacked the car up & spun the wheel, coundt hear the sound then. searched, sounds like wheel bearing on its way, ive booked it into the garage for next week, and wont be driving it. has anyone used these bearings off ebay? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Toyota-Supra-JZA80-3-0i-Turbo-NA-Rear-Wheel-Bearing-/350468097310?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item519986c51e
13. what was the outcome of this nasoup? my car has started doing the same today.... thought there was something sticky on the tire at first, then it sounds like a squeeking noise. its not a constant grind when pads are gone, the faster/slower i go the noise changes, so it has to be wheel/brake related (think)
14. just taken off my car today as got a white one wheel is in good condition, red stitching has come off slightly in 1 part of it, other than that good wheel. great feel, 350mm. comes with horn, after £65 delivered
15. facnyplates.co.uk make whatever size you want
16. someone tried this to me, said they would send me a cheque for the full amount, then send someone on a truck to take it away when the cheque clears. the cheq arrived, £3000 more than what i was asking for the car (Z32) i went to the bank, they said the cheque was fake, the money would have actually cleared, then the next day or day after the bank would realize there wasnt any money from the account tto go into mine, then clawback all the money, by then the seller "hopes" to take your car
17. mine was split, so i ordered new to replace, i ordered a meter of it, which is too much. you only need a couple of inches, so i have enough for about 4 or 5 people if you want any? this is the spec of it... http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/330602491691?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649#ht_1448wt_876 let me know if you want some, worth checking as mine had split & leaked everywhere (worth checking the pipe that goes from the resivour to the cooler also as mine had split there also)

Engine Advice

if your head gasket has gone, and you stopped driving the car as soon as the temp went high, would that still be a new engine job? or just a new skim & gasket?
20. cheers everyone, hope its just the pipe now & not the pump
21. Didn't realize that the pvc pipe would be incorrect, as it stated oil resistant, I've put some oil resistant sealer on it now to see if that holds it, what materiel is the OEM pipe? Will get some...
22. starting to think it could be the pump itself which is leaking, will do a test & report back, anyone had the AN fitting leak or can the pump itself leak?
