  1. Just cut mine open with a dremel and replaced it with a LED strip off Ebay then glued it back together again, don't go paying silly prices for the sake of a £3.00 LED strip.
  2. Saw your silver Supra park up for petrol last Friday night 3/11/17 at about 18:40.I was in the Wife's Audi A1,but unfortunately I was already a bit late going to work so I didn't have the time to pop over to say hello.
  3. To be honest if you're not doing track days or really caning the arse off your car the stock NA front 2 piston slider calipers ain't as bad as people make out and are more than up to the job,for me they are anyway. Considering these brakes are also fitted as standard on some of the other heavier Lexus cars, more pistons aren't always better and when I think of my grail car the Honda NSX the front brakes are also sliding 2 piston calipers not multi piston jobbies. Chris Wilson wrote a very interesting article on making the ordinary stock NA front brakes perform nearly as well as the UK front brakes even on track days.
  4. You could get a nice replacement leather one off ebay.I've one fitted and it looks great.
  5. Hmm think that's what the importers did with mine as well.
  6. I bet they look nice covered in leather from one of those kits on evilbay :-)
  7. I had mine done about six years ago and I was lucky enough it was only surface rust even though it had bubbled quite badly so it was only a matter of grinding the rust back and repainting. Anyone like to hazard a guess why it seems to happen in the same spot on most Supra tailgates, design fault perhaps ?
  8. Not sure. The car I saw didn't have OEM wheels, they were black with polished chrome looking rims and I think this car had a rear light mod which illuminated the reverse lights when it braked as well.
  9. You were just pulling out of the Shell petrol station as I was pulling in,in my red Supra not sure if you saw me or not.
  10. Why oh why are people messing about with these air filters which lose horse power not to mention let more dirt into your engine when its been proved beyond doubt that the standard air box is the best.
  11. Seen today parked up on North Parade Bradford at about 14:30 another black Supra with a tasteful body kit on and lovely big black glossy wheels. This has got to be a members car surely
  12. Ain't anywhere as reliable as the Supra either.Used to really fancy both the 300ZX and the Mitsi GTO,thank God I never bought either of these money pits.
  13. Spotted a black Supra not sure if NA or TT on Rooley Lane Bradford near Asda heading towards M606 or Odsal maybe
  14. Yes I was parked next to a black RX7 which was apparently leaking petrol, but as soon as we parked up we went the cafe for something to eat,had a wander round and didn't go back to the car until it was time to go home.I don't know why there was like a separate enclosure for motorbikes when it wasn't even allegedly their night leaving less room for cars.
  15. I think its weeded all the Yorkshire Supra owners out as well.Mine was the only car there flying the flag the other night
  16. I have these very speakers fitted in the car rear and they do sound great even without an AMP.
  17. Does anyone bother with this anymore.I was thinking of putting in a long overdue second appearance :-)
  18. Obviously not a members car then.
  19. Today.Nicely kept standard ( I think) coming out of the Shell petrol station near the roundabout Tong St Bradford at approx 17:20.I did wave, but was in the Wife's Audi A1 so prob didn't see me
  20. Yeah the car looks stunning.Shame about the fog light though, many a good rear bumper has been ruined by importers sticking obtrusive fog lights on as an after thought. Mine was the same, but I was very fortunate to pick up an unmolested freshly painted bumper Manchester way for daft money.Few people understandably want to post them.
  21. If in doubt I'd have it done even though it is a none interference engine so not end of world if the timing belt does break unless you're bombing down a motorway that is.
  22. Wow that looks the business and it certainly beats fumbling around with your phone torch.
  23. I did my dizzy O ring last summer,I purchased the O ring from Mr T think it was £2.50 or there abouts. The key to replacing the dizzy in the correct position once you have replaced the worn O ring is to mark round the fixing bolt with something sharp before taking the dizzy out. I did this as per instructions I found on an American Lexus GS300 forum ( same engine as NA Supra) and all went well.
