  1. I got a very nice black rocker fog light switch off Ebay some time ago, which fit like a glove.
  2. You'll be lucky bud.I would imagine everybody's door cards will now have a few nicks including mine.Could be an expensive trip to Mr Ts.
  3. And certainly alot better looking
  4. I fitted one of those fandangled earthing kits which despite what some people say did actually steady the idle.
  5. It will be if its had one of those failside kits fitted
  6. I'll have it then, mines looking abit scuffed :-)
  7. Dare I mention Tein ? Basic set is around £350 on Ebay and granted they do come in for a lot of flack from some people on here. But I have had Teins on my car for over 8 years with no issues.
  8. Might be better saving your brass and spending it on a full tank of Shell V-power Nitro.Made a noticeable difference on my NA.
  9. Rather tasty looking one in silver on Whitehall Rd near New Farnley Leeds spotted when I was coming back in the opposite direction from Leeds in my wife's Audi yesterday about 14:00.
  10. Are either of you Guys planning on going to the monthly meet at the Squires Milkbar Sherburn in Elmet this Tuesday ?
  11. It ain't in bad nick for its age and red does polish up well but its not mint though. No I don't know Olli, I used to see a white Supra quite regulary up and down Whitehall Road, but that was a number of years ago.Has he still got it ?
  12. Hi there it was my good self and I do live local in Birkenshaw, but I don't get to as many local meets as I should mainly to working conti shifts.Your Lexus does seem to shift abit not bad for a NA engine just like my baby
  13. Most of the dash panels are covered in a thin rubber like substance which a lot of people including myself tend to rub with off with white spirit or whatever then repaint in the desired colour and finish,I chose plasticote flat black which I think looks great. You should be able to find plenty of links on removing dash panels just be careful you don't snap off the fixing tabs on the back they tend to be quite brittle !
  14. Same here no-one but the local mechanic and deffo not the wife who struggles to park her Audi A1
  15. My main fuel pipe has started leaking so when I replace it I was thinking of also changing the fuel filter as well.Is there much point in this or is it a case of if ain't broke don't fix it.
  16. I've managed 380 miles out of a tank whilst driving to Cornwall and that was with a fully loaded boot and the Wife !!!!!
  17. Spotted on the Headrow yesterday, prob trying to avoid the Saint Paddys parade,at 10:30 ish.Had rather a throaty exhaust, not sure if it was Turbo or N/A tho.
  18. The Facelift version has a bar going across
  19. What suspension have you got on at the mo,standard ? Usually coilovers drop your ride height.
  20. Anyone tried this, basically fiddling about with sparkplugs so that when they re tightened up the side electrode isn't shielding the centre electrode from the inlet charge. This is done apparently by marking the sparkplug insulator with the position of the side electrode so you can see its position when screwed in the cylinder head. Then by trial or error using other plugs or shims so you have the centre electrode facing the inlet valve unobstructed by the ground electrode. I've thought about doing this whilst I'm replacing my N/A rocker cover gaskets which are leaking. Does it actually make a noticeable difference in performance or is it just snake oil ?
  21. Shell V Power all the way for my Baby. For all the reasons already stated it does make a noticeable difference even in a N/A
  22. Don't laugh Halfrauds did me a pot of touch up paint for £12.00 and it wasn't a bad match for a 20 year old red car either :-)
