. . . . cough What budget have you got? as the auto is 6k and the manual 9k, so a 3k gap there for starters. If you want a manual they will always be well more expensive wherever you look. I was looking for a Supra for 4 months and to be honest my problem was I was trying to stay local which was a mistake. I ended up going to view in Essex off a classified here (140 miles there from Derbyshire) and pick it up Saturday. This has been my daily car for the last two and a half years after selling my Cosworth. Due to me picking up my Supra in two days time I have now bought an Astra Van to do my 40 miles travel to and from work so the Mondeo is now up for sale. In the time I have owned it the only issue I have had was a leak in the power steering oil cooler pipe which I replaced. Other than this I have had no issues with the car and it crusies nice down the 20 miles down the A38 dual carriagway to work. 1998 Ford Mondeo ST24 V6 2.5 litre Duratec Engine 135000 Miles Ford RS Sport Pack (side skirts and bigger bumpers) optional extra Scorpion Stainless Exhaust Pipercross Induction Kit 17" Fox 5 Spoke Alloys 4 Previous Owners Traction Control ABS Heated Front and Rear Screens New discs and pads all round (2k miles ago) Kenwood CD player 12 Months MOT Taxed till the end of Feb (costs 102 for six months) Slight bubbleing on the O/S rear arch Great all round condition (as per pics) I am looking for around 1250 or nearest offer and can say that this car at 135k still pulls nice and has never let me done once apart from the issue previously stated. I laugh at my mate for that but also that would depend on whether you are going for that shape or the older "classic" shape. While Looking for a car I did contemplate a Scoob and there are many Special Editions to be found UK300 - RB5 - Colin McRae Series. I was thinking of the RB5 and there were a couple I could have viewed but I decided a Supra was for me in the end. The RB5's go for about 5kish for a decent one (If as previously mentioned there is an option to keep the Supra could you not buy a POS for your daily driver?) RB5 Scotty

Gordy, My mate Dan has a 06 WRX. He has had it since new and he is well chuffed with it. I guess it depends on what version you are looking at, and whether your looking for a standard Impreza or an STi or WRX. Since he has owned it he has added coilovers, 18's on semi slicks, a Miltek exhaust and upgraded the Turbo to an STi and had a remap at Powerstaion. He keeps it immaculate and I have driven it a couple of times and it is quick. (n/a quick) I was 4 months ago looking at either a Supra, Skyline, Evo or an Impreza and as my kids live with my ex I didnt have the back seat issue in my critea as you do. After deciding on and buying my Supra (pick it up in 2 days) I did see the the back seats are a no go for anyone over 5 years old!!! I suppose its all down to what model you are looking for and how much budget you have got to play with. My mate has joined on here ( I think he secretly would like a Supra haha, he keeps looking at Jurgens Ad's ) so I will get him to give you a PM on anything you would like to know as I guess he is more qualified than moi. He probably had a $hitty Christmas and when he saw your car and liked it but thought " I cant afford that on my wages" and thought he would give you some (you cant mess with me buddy!!!)
