  3. I picked up my TT Supra yesterday from Essex and the other Rob (trebor69) picked up his N/A about one month ago. As we both live pretty local to each other we arranged to meet up today for a few minutes to look at each others Supes and exchange a few views etc. it was nice to put a face to a name from the club and great to see somebody elses Supra. It was dam cold out but we got a few pics at the roadside as people gorped from their cars going past. Anyway heres some pics Trebors n/a (left) Scotty's TT (right) Trebors n/a with frost bite:D My TT after a clean Trebors n/a Two more Pics Anyone else local wanting to meet up anytime that be great Sheep Dog Scotty
  4. I like it as it is in the first pic but I would re add the rear spoiler with either the standard or a nice TRD Carbon. i have never been a fan of ott spats like the Bomex but hey we all have different tastes so whats good for me maybe not for you A TRD or Stock rear spoiler would finish it off nice Sheep Dog Scotty

  13. I know mate its not my fault..... but in my defence I had been looking for a Supe for 4 months and thought "this is the one";) Scotty
  14. Exactly right Pistonbroke, the folder of reciepts and history I got today after picking up my Supe was excellent, and Mike had owned it for the last 6 years, a member here. Im looking out of my window still drooling having a good history and a car thats known to the club goes along way in my opinion Scotty
  15. Well , I picked the TT up today from Mike in Essex and had a steady drive back with a nice smug grin wrapped across my face. The auto box is great and I had a great steady run back to Derbyshre in not too bad weather. Credit goes to Mike for the condition of this car and the folder full of history and reciepts, and thanks to your dad as well for his hospitality Anyways Im of work for a week now so I can start doing a few little jobs I want to get done which are to respray the front Bomex (a few stone chips) and to sort the J Spec lights, apart from that its looking good but also going to get a full detail by my good self this week. Thanks again Mike, thank your dad too and Ill keep you updated on the things I do to your ex (car) Scotty (rob)
  16. All good things come to those who wait scotty
  17. Just my thoughts Gurnam, With that budget JM would be my first choice, not my last resort. I know ten weeks is quite a while to wait but many people who have been on here years would agree with that and a JM import would be worth the wait. If I was selling a car for 9k in an ad whether online or in the autotrader I would at least make sure it was clean!! The Supe in the ad looked filthy:blink: Its your cash so its your choice but the people on here only want and give advice so you can get the best Supra for your money. I have not been on here long myself but my port of calls would be 1) Classifieds 2) JM Imports 3) Pistonheads. I bought off the classifieds and pick it up Saturday but I didnt have the budget you do. good luck with the search Scotty
  18. How close are we looking the sheep to be exactly?? Scotty71
  19. You will not get Dolby Digital (ac3) through phono's. Only by using an optical lead or coaxial. Dolby Pro Logic is a bit dated with todays dvd's. Dolby Digital Plus/TrueHD and DTS-HD is the current spec thats of course if your running a nice 7.1 capable amp via HDMI. A must if you want to get the most out of HDdvd/BluRay Scotty
