  1. Wide all round, then post a video as I'll be doing the same over the next couple of weeks!!
  2. Silly question, but have you changed the oil? Or if you have is it the right oil?
  3. Good man, now get your backside to the track! Fingers crossed mine will be ready soon!
  4. Competition Car Insurance? Can't recommend these enough, and lets you have a few track days too

    Supra

I'm at a place called Vertigo
  6. Maybe because we'd have a giggle at his prices! £1950 for a R154 conversion, and £850 for a W58, neither with a clutch!
  7. Paul, and a few other will never sell a 1.2 Bar restrictor ring. There are too many variables in each engine/outside temperature/gear/etc etc. You will have a restrictor ring, that is all, it will/should keep the boost well below 1.2 bar, and the boost controller will raise the boost to the desired level, the b/c cannot lower the boost, so the minimum you can make is what is at the r/r. That should be just enough backslashes for a Wednesday night.
  8. nothing to see here either
  9. It's more likely to be the coil pack clips, they're not expensive, and well worth changing as they break down and become brittle with age. Keron at extreme performance often has them, or try Paul at Wifbitz. Adam
  10. He can also do a mean Ribena, just don't let him loose at the party rings! http://www.foxs-biscuits.co.uk/images/400x200/partyrings.png
  11. Take a good look at the buyers guide, it all depends of budget, usage, and mechanical ability these days. Welcome to the club
  12. JC JC!! What are you looking for? Budget? There is soooo much help on here it's unreal at times, but be warned, the search engine is your new best friend, and stay away from Ed's rag!
  13. With no t&t, and a knackered front pulley, and poss head gasket, I'd offer roughly half a bag of haribo, maybe a full bag if the bodywork is immaculate.
  14. Yeah, they are no good, terrible things so I'll do you a favour and do a straight swap for a standard NA manual ecu
  15. I wouldn't knock them too much, although they will never be "fast" I've already seen off a few golf gti's, a 2.5 diesel Beemer and more than kept up with a 56 plate Astra VXR both in a straight line and in some very twisty bits. If I was more of a wordsmith I'd have written some spirited driving chronicles, as stepping down from a bpu TT auto I have been pleasantly surprised as to the ability of the NA.

    Hello

    Hello Doctor Nick!
  17. +2 Looking to take mine out in anger for the first time at Marham in August, would be great to run it on a track too this year.
  18. There are a few Mr T's in Essex, you could try this one in Romford 01206 546 455
  19. Are you sure it's not a misfire? I thought my old aerotop had a vibration, but it was the old plugs causing a miss on idle. Worth a quick check before spending out on mounts
  20. 600 miles in this one! (only had it fora couple of months, and it's not too comfortable for long trips!!)
  21. Damn it! It's the left hand side, rear pin that holds the shoe in place. The one at the front is straight, so I'm presuming that its the wonky one that has buggered off
