  1. Yippee great news!... hopefully keep her long enough so we can be show buddys lol
  2. Bit more work done on the block. New clevite bearings & some squirters fitted. Brand new Oil pump and core plugs fitted. spec of the block Built and balanced engine Stock crank Clevite bearings 86.5mm Mahle pistons BC pro series rods ARP main studs ARP 625+ rod bolts ARP L19 head studs
  3. I think that looks shit hot with the vents left in carbon!... not a fan of the TRD bonnet.
  4. block stripped, prepared and painted by SRD in high temp gloss black finish. list of new parts ordered. Things are getting serious now lol.
  5. Yeah paint that bonnet it would look much better. Great work Simon
  6. cheers guys. i had stock pulleys on the 'gold rush' plus aftermarket pulleys wont fit behind the OCD cover without spacing and thats not a bit of me. I do agree but im also very happy with my choice
  7. Started to gold plate a few bits today. I opted against the rose gold for the pulleys as i wanted a richer look. I think with the 2 types of gold being used ( 18ct rose gold & 24ct gold) it will be nice touch. Anyway i got my Power house racing pulley set gold plated and i managed to gold plate the custom top suspension rings. Thanks for the comments. oh i re-done the cam pulleys!! i went off the chrome and gold mix so just went all gold to match other pulleys
  8. Looks amazing mate. Credit to yourself, Srd and Simon for doing brilliant faultless work. Going to be a stunner.
  9. Wanted. TT AUTO tensioner. Anyone got one forsale?
  10. Yeah all done by hand the old skool way. It's truly amazing the skill of some of the cuts and techniques used. I'm very lucky to showcase some amazing work from a legendary engraver. Yeah I miss that car. Onwards and upwards though and this already is smashing it
  11. Apparently took him 5 days which is why it cost the most but i appreciate the work involved... He is in his 80's and uses a hammer and chisel I'm very lucky to have his work.
  12. My plans are paying off then... Being different and thinking out the box is what it's all about. Thanks for the comment
  13. Thanks mate. work of art i agree im baby faced and cant grow a mexican mustache... lol
  14. Well had some nice pictures from the engravers today. All finished just waiting for chrome now. hope you like. the workmanship is incredible and im so happy, all done with chisel and a hammer. i Had the following parts done 1- Billet custom sparkplug cover- ' DRESSED TO KILL' script engraved 2- Top water pipe- prob the most expensive item i have had done, worth it though 3- water pump pulley cover 4- power steering cap 5- brake reservoir cap 6- OCD billet center timing belt cover just need them chrome now to match the stunning greddy intake manifold already finished
  15. SRD 4" will do the job more than perfectly.. ETS is a bit more money and prob for bigger power goals
  16. yes lee is helping assemble the engine and head. Ill keep the thread posted with the spec i have gone for nearer the time. clear coat will just soak up into the carbon fabric mate. Once all the stages of resin was complete i flatted back once more then clear coated at the end. Its very labour intensive and to be honest a pain in the arse but least i can say i done those bits myself.. im trying to do all the car myself but SRD will be heavily involved nearer the end just like they was with my previous build.
  17. yeah having a engine and head built mate, hopefully have it next year. Thanks mate, just take your time on them as its easily rushed due to the long curing times of the resin
  18. good luck!! they are like rocking horse shit.
  19. They took me ages to do, about 5 coats of resin on them and especially drilling all the holes that was challenging.
  20. Little update whilst im waiting on some exciting stuff. Got the carbon fibre door handles and fuel flap back. They look lovely
  21. Members who purchased. They have been sent out this morning
