I actually thought you would be the one to shoot me down lol. HKS T51 is my dream turbo but for what one costs I literally would have paid for this whole kit. I would be silly not to take this on. This build isn't my main priority in life no more so I am searching for used parts and adding my skills to clean them up and fit in. I bought new on the gold rush and lost lots of money.

My twins were laggy, especially on a auto but they packed a punch on the motorway which always mad me giggle like a girl. the small BWS362 i had was spooling all the time and just isnt my style, im not a racer and it felt i was always racing people which isnt me. Always better to come late than too early. Everyone is different and uses the car differently. Granted a modern day alternative will spool stupidly faster but they also carry a huge price tag for something thats not even going to look half as decent too in a bay. I think i will have the best of both worlds and im very happy. Just need to ditch the white calvins

TURBO Well the past few days i have been researching so much on what type of turbo i want for my build and what suits my style of driving and the look i want to see under the bonnet. Lee @ SRD has yet again been a star and been answering my calls with man flu and giving me information and guiding me through everything. This turbo choice and kit will get a few raised eyebrows but the more we chatted about getting it, the more we both think that its going to be absolutely the right choice for me. Well it needs no introduction but i am going for the following VWR T6 manifold Twin tial 44mm wastegates GT4780 Turbo with billet anti surge insert 4.5" downpipe 6" Intake pipe and K&N filter Im not a loon around the streets and im all about putting my foot down when on a open road and using the car for showing. This kit will make stupidly big numbers, bigger than i initially went out for and no one can knock how it going to look in the engine bay. Im very excited. Supporting mods will now be number 1 on the list and fuelling is something me and Lee think is key.

Hello mate I actually still think the best metal polish is Kleers metal polish! It's very low in compound so doesn't scratch. Christian aka stonkin would be the man to ask for wheel maintenance but I never really had any problems with that and to seal it I used to use poor boys wheel sealer. Hello, I know the process of my parts this time around seems to take months but the results are different from any other build so I don't mind waiting. Spent the last couple of days mirror polishing the SRD fuel rail and mocking it all up to the runners. should have some nice updates in the next couple of weeks plus i get to pick the built engine up from SRD who have worked wonders on it.

Yeah that's what I did when I went to see Harley, I took parts from my new build and people just flocked around them. It was pretty overwhelming and loved chatting to them. I think I'll drive out to a few showrooms at weekends and make myself known then?? Ellis is making me some fliers to give out too. which will help.

Hello guys, firstly happy new year to you all. Right, im currently trying to get my polishing and plating out in the wide world and it's something i haven't really had to do before. I have a page on Facebook which gets my work out and gets me jobs. I want to target cars and motorcycles as its in my comfort zone and I love shows ect. I have got business cards and getting leaflets made so I can get myself to some shows and meets. Harley Davidson contacted me to do some work for them but I still want to expand and grow. Any ideas on how I can go about this? Is social media the best answer? Like I said I'm not too good at this as its all new to me but I have so much drive as I know my service is good and not many gold platers about nowadays who have an eye for detail. If anyone belongs or has contacts in the custom bike scene please contact me so i can send a email ect. Thoughts and help is much appreciated??

Thanks mate. Plenty of outstanding builds about I just want to up my game on the last build. Improve on the mistakes ect I made it wasn't happy with last time and there was loads looking back.

Cheers guys for the nice comments. Well today i took delivery of some stainless steel nuts and bolts from Clay @ versatile fasteners! as always quality is exceptional. I cut some thread to size and lock tight'd dome nuts on the end. The first batch is to hold my cam covers on when i get them back. I also 24k plated the water pump to top water neck joiner and replaced the 2 rubber O rings with new I 24k gold plated 20 dome nuts in total and ill use these throughout the engine build, as everything needs to be the same type nut and bolt throughout. Some interesting stuff happening in January but till then merry Christmas everyone.

It took alot of balls to bite the bullet and gold plate the engraved top water pipe but i just think that against the chromed belt covers it will break it up better.. looks hot i must say lol. the detaili this piece is incredible and plating it i just found myself finding new hidden details. I also purchased my old syvecs s6 from the gold rush supra! whoop im really happy to have a bit of that back and control my new build. practically brand new as im the only owner to use it. ASNU 1100 injectors also purchased. some more bits ticked off the list the detail in this work
