  1. I ain't the painter! We have our own bodywork man. Come down if you got problem!!
  2. It's decided to react after 4 years lol behave! Who you kidding mate. Been in the trade over 40 years mate.
  3. You lucky to even be offered help trying to find out the problem!! After 4 years I know for fact most bodyshops would call you a little piss taker and call you a joke. We are a genuin garage and decent helpful traders for 7 years who love supras. Aftercare and leaving it outside is your problem, 4 years anything could have happened or could have been washed with a harmful product to crack the paint. It's a long time to try and kick off at us
  4. It's blatant neglect! i said bring it down but you said you don't trust us lol so go elsewhere, we have tried and offered to help investigate what's caused the problem 4 years on!! Warranty will be expired on that paint now and no mistakes were made or rushed with our workmanship! It's all here and well documented...
  5. People who know me and us would know we would do our best to sort the problem and to us it looks like a paint issue! We have no idea if you have used a chemical on the bodywork or what, if your refusing to come down then nothing will get looked at. All your trying to do is pass the blame and try to tarnish our company. Even new cars paintwork has issues and yours is no by means a good well looked after example of a supra. i have contacted bodyshops about this and they all say the same thing and paint warranty is out on this
  6. Another point to add is the car did come back to us and we did do a couple of little jobs which needing doing but while we had the car Paul was crying about a big mark on the bonnet which was ' bird crap' but we as a decent garage repainted the Bonnet free of charge and also did the other work. A satisfactory note was signed and they took the car!!! 4 years on after it sitting on his driveway neglected he wonders why it's like this!!
  7. Lol your pathetic mate. You got in touch with us regarding this and you said you don't trust us and don't want to come back to us even though we would have looked into this issue and helped out. So what happened to years 1,2,3 ?? You have no idea how to look after a car you have just neglected the car and even admitted that its sat there and not been cleaned! Infact you said it's been cleaned twice. If it was a paint issue this has well expired the warranty which is usually 3 years! If you can't be asked to look after the car then you have to accept the consequences it's nothing to do with us and we have hundreds of happy customers. You refused to come to the garage so that's down to you. 4 Years on!!!
  8. Gave the bay another once over and a real decent degrease/panel wipe down, before spraying some generous coats of primer. We will leave this a few days now before attending to any imperfections (if any). Hopefully get some colour ordered up by the end of the week.
  9. I was about to ask the same question. Look great.
  10. Productive morning. Dropped the coilovers to make the smoothing of the turret tops easy. Gone perfectly. Next is to get the bay in full thick primer next week and go from there if any more work needs doing before we order the paint up.
  11. Thanks guys. Yeah it's been a absolute pain in the backside but with a bit of time and not rushing it's looking better than expected.
  12. Coating prices are silly. My last single and big twins were coating and I still think this had something to do with the manifold getting a hairline crack in it. That manifold is stunning. I would leave bare but obviously if heat is a issue you can always wrap it.
  13. Few snaps from last nights efforts covering the dash. Nearly finished it now and really happy. Can't wait to get some of the carbon bits on it and move onto the next part
  14. Yeah single. Gearbox is undecided but ideally 6 speed manual is what we are after as it was a 6speed before
  15. Well after 3 days we have almost complete the nearside of the engine bay. We are leaving the tops till majority of work is done then we can jack the front up and drop out the old temporary coilovers and do both tops at the same time. Very slowly getting it done and its going to look sweet all smoothed.
  16. can a mod contact me. must have a little bit of spare time on their hands (NOT MUCH) and also follow my pages on facebook
  17. It's a absolute mission mate but everything is in the preparation. Once it's all done you can't beat the feeling or the look it's gives. Glad I'm going this route again and i can't wait to get back into the shows.
  18. Yeah I have spoken to Keron. I have Jurgen looking for a engine so I'll wait to see what he can get me. Cheers
  19. Well our panel beater was busy this afternoon bashing the metal and getting it almost perfect so very little filler is needed. Managed to get the nearside suspension turret fully smoothed and finished. Going to drop the temporary coilovers out so we can smooth the tops. We welded some washers at the top to prevent any cracking once the new suspension is bolted up properly with the rings fitted.
  20. lol even i would have been ashamed of that hint haha
