  1. I'm having the moat drained this spring, so hopefully this event is in the summer
  2. Teaser thread/scenery. http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?308297-Applecross-Invasion-(Saturday-27th-Sunday-28th) Sounds like a nice Idea, let me know if you need any help.
  3. Thanks buddy, I am trying to be as thorough as I can but time and the Wife's patience seem to be of the essence. I received a minty fresh set of OEM mudguards from a nice member who wishes to remain silent . I have been on the hunt for a nice set for a while now, and anything to offset the chances of stone chips has gotta be a winner. Pics to follow. I am going as previously mentioned, on a trip into the Highlands with a group of Scots members this weekend, so I thought I would engage drag mode ( not what you're thinking).
  4. I will get you boys at Xscape then at 9-9.15am, just setting off now to ensure I arrive on time . I am fairly excited
  5. Now that's a nice little package of awesome, certainly going to have to order that handbrake .
  6. I do love owning my Sup, and working on it. I think the club make the ownership experience more appealing.
  7. worse thing was, I ran after him, but my fitness is so poor as of late, that he managed to do a 12 point turn and still drive away before I reached him . Its not all bad news, as I have his wheels and have been doing burnout's with them since he left
  8. That sounds the ticket . Warning: Do not leave your keys unattended chaps, I had my cars keys stolen today by a chap that I thought was a Supra enthusiast, tonight's sleep will be a restless one
  9. Lads, I can meet you both at Escape if you like? I am looking to be there at 9/9.30am. We shall be meeting Westcoaster at the Green Welly Stop @ Tyndrum
  10. Hi and welcome buddy, this is the place to get the right info though
  11. Thanks Ric, I had always wanted to track down a car like this, and luckily I got in early . you don't say buddy
  12. Thanks Jason, its funny that you should suggest that , as I think the same
  13. thanks for the info Mark , I think I might just wait until I bump into Massey.
  14. I certainly agree with you Nicholas, these Rota's are staying on for the winter, unless I get my stock 17's re-furbed and fitted before then. When I eventually get some wheels, they shall be JDM and lightweight, I'm not going to go fully polished or stateside-spec on this car. Thanks Rich . I have just received my SRD billet reverse collar, thanks to Jamie_P. Should go nicely with the shifter a friend is sourcing for me .
  15. Well after a little down time, I am this week servicing the Sup, just fluids and filters for now as I am taking a drive into the Highlands and Skye some other members one here. Unfortunately I am treading on thin ice with the Mrs, as she was not happy with me ordering the Nitron's last week, ermm with our joint account . As you can all imagine, I am on my best behavior and my wage has been frozen .............would I do it again??? Absolutely Here is a little pic I found from the Scottish car show, snapping 2 necks

  21. FAO: Westcoaster, MarcusGTE, Heedthebaw Do any of you guys have anything like a Go-Pro? I will be taking my Camera, but I don't have a sports cam.
  22. How far up the road would you guys like to come to meet up with us lot? After the crossing from Skye, we will be cruising along the A830 to Fort William, then down to Oban.

    Mrs benjy!

Hi and Welcome to the Club
  24. Sorry to be reading of your trouble Jesse, I would consider a full respray if you have such a solid shell. TT lumps are easy enough to transplant. The thing is, you can pick up a TT-Auto for around £5k, but it might need some bodywork and the underside could be less appealing. The limiting factor with the NA-TT is the gearbox, driven sensibly they car last a fairly long time, but it's more a matter of "when" than "if", with regards to replacing the trans.
