I've spent a considerable amount of money on mine already putting the car to how i want it cosmetically, and it easily needs another £2000+ if you include new wheels and paint refreshed after removing the Do-Luck kit. MINT black 6speed TT's dont come up all that often though, which is why i went for the one i have now. Other than the bodykit, it was in fantastic condition tbh. Maybe i'll PM the OP later then H

I entirely agree, which is why i was very careful of my wording in my above comment as not to put a value on the car as it is now. For what its worth, i hope he gets the money he's after for it as he has obviously put alot of time, money and effort into it. I was tempted to make an offer on it with the intention of transferring my drivetrain across and getting the mint black supra i have always wanted, but feel my offer would do little more than insult the guy. Only if it was a 6 speed would it be worth that sort of money, and thats alot more than 3k for the 6speed box and TT engine, your looking at 5k+ for both the box, engine and fitting.

If he can afford £2750, then he can afford £3000, its £250 difference lol. What he actually means is he wants to pay £2750 for it. How much have you got the car up for? I assume its more than £3000 with the hope of being bartered down to 3k? If this is the case, i personally wouldnt even entertain him as people who offer you silly low prices for cars which they've never bothered to go and see are my pet hate. I got it loads of times when i had my old Evo up for sale. As John says, get him to come view the car, if he offers less money than you want without a valid reason (because he cant afford it isn NOT a valid reason) then turn him away.

Hi Steve, we've already had the meet for this thread but myself, Staples230uk (Alistair) and lamboyello (Jason) were talking about making them regular as its not too far for any of us. I'm away in Denmark at the moment, but if the weathers not too bad when i get home i'll sort one out. We'll be having them on a Sunday each time, as thats when there seems to be a few more cars about to show up when we pull up in our superior cars lol. I've got the same set as yours sitting in my garage waiting to go on my Top Secret bonnet. I took one look at the "carbon style" ones and decided they would look pants on a carbon bonnet, spec with the carbon weave design not going in the same direction as the bonnet lol. Q for you Rob seeing as you work in a spray shop, have you seen many of the Top Secret Bonnets sprayed to match the car? If so, would you say it looked better than Carbon? I'm debating having it done, but seeing TRD Spoilers fully sprayed put's me off as they look miles better wth the carbon centre fin. My car's white so the carbon bonnet can look funny from a distance.

Do-Luck or Blitz from me, both look very nice with the Trial rear.

And people wonder why i upgraded to a Galaxy S2 this year lol. Your best bet is Google tbh fella, i just tried for you but i'm offshore so the internet is unbelievably slow. As above, try restore it to before you updated the OS, iTunes should have made a backup automatically when you plugged the iPhone in to upgrade to OS5. From what i can tell there is alot of issues with the update so in all honesty if you cant restore it to OS4, its going to be a "suck it up and wait it out" method while Apple release a patch to sort it. ScottM is your man though if you want any technical advice, he likes his gadgets.

Lost count of how many adds i've seen over the years where a Supe is selling very cheap due to engine problems which turns out to be something really minor and easily fixable. I put it down to people not wanting to spend money having problems diagnosed. Good buy mate, what colour are you going to paint it? hopefully back to stock black as its the best colour IMO.

I'm also not too keen on the going to "The Ring", the place has far too many accidents for my liking. I'll still go if its what the club decides though.
