Hi and welcome. Check out the north east section of the forum as there are a few meets/events coming up and I think there are a few people who meet up at team valley on Wednesday evenings if you'd like to pop along and have a look around a few cars

The rear panel doesn't look like there is any damage to the paint so may be able to get that pulled out quite cheap. Front door will be much cheaper to just replace with a second hand one as mentioned. What is the paint like on the other rear quarter?

Hi, does anyone know of any other toyotas that have the same wheel brace as the supra? Mine is missing so ideally I'd like to get one that will fit the stock space in the boot but I've never seen a supra in a scrap yard local. I'm thinking that maybe one from an mr2 or another more common car will be easier to find, doubt one is worth how much it would cost to have one posted.

I'd have a really good look at the shell on the UK. There are a few horror stories about rust on the chassis if it hasn't been properly cared for. A CAT C UK6 will be worth more than a NA-TT but I doubt a UK auto would. There were some going for £5-6K last year and they were not cat C's.

I'll be starting in Darlington and I think the group are meeting some people at Washington services if you wanna tag along there. The Wednesday evening meets are normally too early for me by the time the little one is asleep and I get through to team valley.

Hi guys, I've just joined a local Jap forum and they are having a run out to South Shields on Sunday (should make it there about 12) if the weather is nice and anyone fancies a run out it could be a good afternoon. Will these fit a facelift? I bought some HID's but going from the guide in technical I ordered 9006 bulbs, but the fitting is way off and they wont sit far enough in to twist into place.

Another think to think about is the running costs are about the same for the NA and TT depending on how you drive. When I last looked there was not much difference in insurance cost and depending on year the tax will be the same. It's cheaper to buy a TT than to buy an NA and then want more power 2 months down the line.

Doing a quick check on the number plate it's come back as a TT6! Still, could be anything under the bonnet.

Cheers Brian, I've not really driven her hard yet, just wanting to get used to her and the roads are freezing round here. I've managed to sort most of the niggly things out (get the windows working again, refit driver side speaker and swap head unit) but I've got a bit of an issue with the O/S bonnet catch, I've sprayed it with WD40 and worked it with a screw driver but its not locking, clicked in place with the screw driver but released as soon as I moved it. From the paper work it was on;y replaced a few years ago. Anyone have any ideas??
